Interior designs for your car and garage

What ideas would you add to this?

I would love for Horizon to have that Test Drive Unlimited feel, heck it would be great is it TDU/2 had Forza physics/graphics engine. But I doubt Playground Games are putting in stylish interior.

I really doubt they’ll allow interior designing. You only see the inside during first-person view and in Forza Vista which won’t be in FH2. If they didn’t even let you customize the look of the “player” in the first Horizon then I doubt they’ll spend the space on it. It would be cool but unnecessary since we’d barely see any part of it, and it doesn’t seem like Car Meets will include the full information like Forza Vista where you could get into the car.

Maybe if they had basic options for the visible parts during first-person driving like coloring or turbo/oil gauges, and what have you. Otherwise I’d prefer they use that space for other things.

None. None whatsoever.

I’m still hoping at some point they bring car museums into Forza. It could be like your own storefront as well.
Basically you get a museum and you fill it with whatever vehicles you want. Could be a certain manufacturer like Audi or Chevrolet, or a class like sports or LMP. Then you could do write ups with plaques under the cars, or videos you’ve recorded of them in action. You could have photo’s up of them, and in the gift shop you could sell tunes and paints for them. Maybe even have race days with custom lobbies you’ve set up.
I know there’s a lot of passion and knowledge on these forums and this would be a great way for people to express that and expand the gamers into car lovers thing. Just my thoughts on a different take for Forza. This is not a wishlist. I don’t wish for them to do this. I’m sending subliminal letters to all the staff at T10 so I know it will happen! lol
There are so many ways that Forza could evolve, but right now it would be better for them to return it to it’s former glory first. That’s what they should do. (There’s a bit about that in the letters too!)

How about some dash decorations and interior customizations? It might seem trivial but the choice of left and right wheel would be nice. It seems odd that in Forza we have American cars with wheels on the right and Euro/Asian cars with wheels on the left.

Well Turn 10 is the main studio behind Forza, and since they’re a Microsoft company and they’re both in the US it makes sense for the cars that are also sold in the US to be LHD. Most or all of the Japanese and other import cars, though, are RHD, but that seems to be mostly cuz JDM tuners love a right-hand import. Even the newer Subarus are righty.

Honestly though, the interior customization is kinda redundant. For the Motorsport series it would make more sense since you’re constantly in the cars, racing for 10+ minutes at a time, but Horizon is more arcadey, so if you want to see your custom work then just change your in-game viewpoint. I thought about it and I don’t like the thought of spending memory and game/menu space on cockpit options.

I don’t think FH2 will have interior customization. The Crew on the other hand does have interior customization. It’s limited but cool that it’s there.

Just give me two houses in opposite ends of the map and a rather large garage at each location like TDU…especially if it had a private race track like the island one in the harbour in TDU!

Alright… after playing forza for years now i still have wanted to see such interior customization’s like custom boost gauges or gauges in general or steering wheels but… no they decide not to but if that were added then first many more people would enjoy the eyecandy of a boost gauge instead of three cars that only have one and more sales plain and simple. also there aren’t many or maybe no games that have good interior customization and i for one would be astounded to see such a thing in the game, or at least Forza Motorsport 6 and on.
Just saying my and many others thoughts and i hope this makes its way to turn ten and playground.

For players playing with cockpit view and a steering wheel give us the option to have the cars steering wheel go away so we don’t have one on the car and one on the stand before us.
