Inputs - Logitech shifter causing continuous gear sound when shifting (1636815)

hi, when i shift into neutral position(h-shifter) a shift sound start to repeat(clack, clack, clack, clack…) till i shift back to a gear. this happens on both platforms pc&xbox and on all cars and transmissions. this bug is since release´23.

Shifters tested: Thrustmaster Th8a & Fanatec Clubsport SQ 1.5

edit: i dont know why the admin labeled this post as logitech… dosnt matter anyway because it happens on all h-shifters.

Hello,

Can you please provide a video of what you are experiencing in game?

Thank you,

Haven’t played in a few weeks, but this occured on Fanatec systems running a H pattern shifter as well.

I’ve had this issue since day 1. Very annoying.

Just encountered the same after installing my h-shifter.

I think it’s not happening always, though.
Maybe it’s car or transmission dependent?
Or something in the settings…

Anyway, it’s still happening.

Series X, current game version.

This bug still hasn’t been fixed almost a year after the release, that’s crazy. As mentioned before, this happens with any H-Shifter gear, just tested with the Logitech H-Shifter and it still happens.

Yes, they cant even fix such simple things. They just dont care about this problem because the majority of the gamers base are joypad warriors. No need to fix this…
