(If a mod would allow this…)
Messing around last night, first time in ages I’ve touched Forza. Went into Dixon’s 9 Honda NTT DATA Car at Maple Valley & Sebring.
Started to click on that the car wasn’t leaving any skid marks from locking up or doing donuts. Any reason why this is? I’ve only tried the 9 Car not sure if the others do it.
And on the subject of IndyCars, in rivals Tony Kanaans 10 is clearly visible yet you can’t buy it in the game? And, why does Josef Newgarden’s #2 Car have Conor Daly’s blur steering wheel? And why in the Chevy IndyCars the Driver is sat so far forward that there’s a massive gap between the Helmet and the head rest (plus he’s sat way to high up)
Next up Formula E, this is probably the tiniest fault on the car current crop of cars. The steering wheel isn’t correct, as they’re using the original steering wheel’s from Season1/2. The newer one is far more updated for the electric series.
The Altima Supercar…why does it have the 2013 rear wing? And wrong wheels on it? Turn 10 got it right in Forza 6, and then mess it up in Forza 7? Finally, the Mercedes Supercar…THAT HAS BEVER EVER been a flappy paddle car!? All Supercars are sequential gearstick cars.
Anyway. Just some little things I’ve found.

There are more I’ve missed, i’ll add later for the T10 team to look into
I can sort of understand things not being right from the outset (I don’t agree with it), but when perfectly fine cars in previous games show up broken or messed in some way in newer games, it jest beggars belief.
Its just odd that in the world of Forza you can have a great representation of a car in one game and it ruined in the next. You could a car that is fine in one game and the next instalment it has been updated with older aero, changed and wrong shifting animations, another manufactures logo used insead of the correct one, they’ve given it an extra 2 cylinders sound wise and the rear taillight turn signal colour has been changed to something that doesn’t exist in real life.
I can see how a mix up might occur with uploading the sound files or mixing a Jag RS badge with a Renault R.S one can happen, however excusable. Remodelling an entire car to older incorrect spec, with incorrect wheels that aren’t used in the championship (they are mandated to use the team dynamics wheel) however is just straight up odd. Even the car used for the pre season promos is 2017 spec and not the 2014 version.
Its even more odd that that car gets changed when the 2017 BTCC Mercedes is just a reskinned 2014 car, especially as it has been massively upgraded in 2015 and 2017. It should have a new modelled engine, front and rear subframes and the front bumper is changed significantly too, never mind that fact in should be on 265 tyres not the pre 2017 245 ones.
In summary, one car changed that didn’t need it and one that did didn’t.

Honestly am dumbfounded by the logic at times. I hope they patch all these mini issues. That’s for another post the patch stuff, but hey ho. Just little things bother me, attention to detail. You can tell this was rushed, due to the number of “fails”
I’m sure it will get better though. I hope.
