Problem:
Higher difficulty is not properly rewarded because you lose a big portion of the credits if you don’t get podium. This incentivizes playing at a low enough difficulty that you’re basically guaranteed podium (boring), rather than a more challenging difficulty where the bonus is slightly better but you’re not going to get it every time.
Solution:
Increase the difficulty bonus a lot more with each difficulty level. Instead of podium bonus, bonus credits based on how well you do (still affected by difficulty).
