I just recently purchased Forza Horizon 2 for the xbox one and i think it is an amazingly beautiful game. Im not much of a car guy and purchased the game to play with friends, but now i find myself addicted to the game. I usually find myself using other users tune setups when purchasing a new car, but i would like to start tuning my own and learning what everything does :?/ any help on where i should start?

Start by reading the info boxes in the tuning pages. Then experiment with the sliders and see what happens.
This sub-forum, and the one for FM5, have valuable information. Since both games use the same physics engine anything you find in one can often be applied to the other.
I also use this particular link because it is super helpful and the suggestions work.
Most of the tuning is however done by feel and experimentation once out on the course. Some good places to start are using tunes you know and like, and seeing if they are open source. Kitty has a whole thread of open source tunes you can use. This means you can create the car, see how you like it, and still make tweaks - just don’t share the tune for a profit because it’s not really your work…
… others, like myself, are often time willing to share their tunes with you privately or I may even open source some if asked.
As for understanding tuning, that will be a path well traveled; it will not happen overnight. Doing a sub-forum search or scanning through the pages of the Tuner’s Lounge will reveal many helpful threads to give you insight.
