How about a playseat challenge. It gives you a realistic driving position and a way to mount your wheel, and pedals. When your done racing you can fold it up and place it in your closet. It also has a good review on inside simracing. My girlfriend was so convinced, she even bought it for me.
Its compatible with all wheels.
Im also still looking for a wheel and im personally thorn between the thrustmaster tx leather edition and the logitech g920.
The tx has better pedals and superior force feedback, but the servo motor is notorious for breaking early. Check out the thrustmaster tx reviews on amazon. Its kinda like playing russian roulette with 400 + ,bucks.
The logitech has older technology and the break pedal doesnt seem to work very well. On the other hand its a safe choice concidering its build quality
The tx leather costs 469 bucks
The logitech g920 399 bucks
- a playseat challenge 200 to 250 bucks.
You get a very cool setup for around 600/700 bucks.
I just ordered the TX leather + shifter and the Xlerator XL20D wheel stand for use with my Ikea Poang chair, I’ll post back when I get it all set up and let you know how it works.
