I seriously want a refund

There I’ve said it but seriously can’t take any more of this buggy glitchy grindy game. Have to level cars up so raced enough that the playtime accrued prevents me from refunding the game note this is less than 2 weeks from my purchase I purchased the game on the 30th. I’ve been able to “play” for 3 days, I say play in quotes lightly because the game keeps hanging and crashing keeps booting me to the xbox dashboard. I’m doing the simplest things in game like painting a car, applying some decals, setting up a race. hell only reason I have enough playtime accrued is the game doesnt save mid race so when it crashes I had to try over which is complete insanity with the levelling system in place, I like painting cars but that crashes too go figure. note I am on a series x

Let Me Have A Refund I paid for a playable game and enjoyable game. not this I applaud the graphics and physics, BUT IT IS NIETHER PLAYABLE NOR IS IT ENJOYABLE ESPECIALLY WHEN YOUR GAME KEEPS CRASHING MID ACTIVITY FOR NO REASON. THE SERIES X IS LESS THAN 3 MONTHS OLD AS WELL SO YOU CANNOT BLAME THAT EITHER.

So in finality #Turn10 #Microsoft I am within 3 days of actually being able to play this sorry sad disappointment I bought the premium edition with all the vip. It doesn’t feel vip or premium it feels like a ripoff. My account is linked to my purchasing account on microsoft I know the internal workings of IT and finance and that this can be solved by taking less than 30 minutes and sending me a refund through the menus in your systems. GIVE ME MY REFUND FOR MY PREORDER of your FAILURE TO DELIVER A PLAYABLE GAME.

You’ll never get a refund in the forum…

Crashes are becoming more and more common for me too the more I play the game. Using the Performance RT setting on SX.

Thankfully, the CTDs have only occured in one of the menus, where the menus would hang and I’d be booted back to the home screen.

Switch to Performance… U can’t tell big difference but fixed some issues on the car. Now the LOTUS on back is chrome on performance-rt it was grey or black. Same for the Alpine now the rearlights look like shiny glass not rotten plastic. Some bug with reflections with rt

You can request a refund by filling the appropriate form on the Xbox support page. Just search “Xbox refund” and you’ll quickly find it. There is a “reason” field there, if you specifically point out technical issues then you might just get it approved. Just make it professional and not like “I don’t like this buggy grindy game”. Low chance of getting a refund after so much time but it might be worth a shot if you feel the situation is that bad.

So much drama. Wait for the Day One patch first. Hopefully it will be ready for release. Otherwise play another game and come back soon. Of course I can understand the anger at such a long-awaited game but such acts of defiance do not help anyone. Turn10 will have their hands full to fix as many problems as possible as soon as possible. After all, it is supposed to be one of Microsoft’s flagship games.

well I went through what you asked and still no refund here is proof of them denying me a refund and actually going against canadian consumer protection law .

nice to know when a fan is displeased with thier purchase they cant get a refund. I don’t care at this point I’m going to make noise until I get it both here and on microsoft forums. for those saying wait its beta etc yall need to stop drinking the cool aid

When I got a pre order early release game as a kid (33 years old my series x was a bday present to myself) it was a complete functional game not a buggy crash filled experience like Forza Motorsport has been. If i purchased a piece of software that was as buggy as this game is crashing 7 plus times in a 4 hour playshift I would be protected by consumer law and guaranteed a refund on it.

This game IS software by definition: a program designed to run on an os on hardware. But I digress Im not purchasing another forza game from now on period won’t pay for any dlc for my current ones and deleted this one from my console.

Ran fine for me on XSX this morning with graphics set to visual.

How is it in visuals mode? I know I’m in the minority but I like the Visuals mode on FH5 so I’m curious.

Why did you Cry that Hard?

In every Preview from all the Youtubers Worldwide you can clearly see that this Game is everything but not a Full Game at Release. All Missing Features was well known before because they show nothing expect from Racing… It´s the same like the last 10 Years of this Francise.

Looks great to me, but I also can’t really tell the difference between a smooth 30 and 60 fps.

This is why I will always buy physical! I will get most of my money back

if you paid via credit card just do a charge back on it saying fraudulent and youll get your money back, Turn10 has made alot of fake and false promises with this game

Same here, i have had some small graphical problems (some NPC cars “blinking” on and out of existence in the PIT) but other then that, not mutc.

In MP i did time out when joining a friend in a custom lobby, to be fair he is on the other side of the planet.

But i would hardly call it a mess etc.

Just had THREE crashes to desktop in multiplayer. F this, give me my money back. It has crashed before, but three in just over an hour of play is absolutely unacceptable.

I refunded FM7 because it’s horrible performance at launch, looks like I have to do it AGAIN. with FM8

I have no respect for Turn10 anymore, and that is someone who owns the Deluxe version of every Forza game ever released

There is no way you want a refund by posting this on a forum tho

I notice it more with the Limited Editions, I got Horizon Forbidden West LE, with the model, and it was a digital copy, yet the base game is a physical disc.

I do it all the time with Sony games - buy the base game, rinse it in a week, sell it for a £3 loss.
