Recently I have finally optained one of my favourite cars and immediately tuned it.
However I just can’t get the result I want. I am happy with acceleration and speed, just not with it’s cornering behaviour.
Full speed and 90° corners are no problem, for everything inbetween the car just sometimes refuses to turn or slips away,
at speeds where other cars have no problem at all.

Hi, here’s a quick overview of what I would do.
First check that your diffs aren’t locking in the turn due to locking being set too high. The defaults for the race diff are a fine starting point that shouldn’t cause any problems iirc.
Second, remove any aero add-ons so that you know they aren’t affecting the handling balance.
Test the handling, if it still understeers the balance is off. In general the front being too stiff in relation to the rear will cause understeer, the rear being too stiff will cause oversteer. Play around with the spring rates and sway bar values to find what you want. Once you’re happy if you want aero you can add it on and go through balancing it to improve your cornering speeds. Then if you want you can increase diff locking. Just keep testing as you go so it doesn’t interfere with the handling.
