I was tinkering with one of my many Ferrari’s to see just how fast i could get it to go . Turns out it was pretty damn quick : ) . I got it up to 236 MPH on the straights of LeMans .
Your challenge , if you choose to accept it , is to beat the time i set on the Old LeMans circuit in the Ferrari 458 . The target time is 3:33:370

Usual T&C apply ( clean laps etc etc ) . ONLY upload a replay if you want a prize for beating the target time and name it " i feel the need "
Prizes are , 50 M credits for beating the time .
There are quite a few challenges going on at the moment ( which is a good thing btw ) , so , i will run the comp for a calendar month from now until midnight 17/05/16
Both tune and paint needed for the challenge are up on my SF now
I expect most of you guys to beat the target time fairly comfortably , i left a second or so at the last corner while setting the time for the challenge .

Okay- that makes me feel better - THIS ONE IS A TUFF ONE FOR ME ;/ - tried a few laps last night and although I got a new PB - WAY OFF pace with V s target time…WAY OFF ;/ with a clean lap
I feel the need, the need for speed… and as Voldemort so eloquently put it, giving this Ferrari “loads of welly”…lol =)
Not all that familiar with this track so this challenge presents the perfect opportunity for me to have some fun and get a whole lot better at the LeMans circuit. Appears by the previous posts that this is going to be quite the challenge…PERFECT!!
Took me a while to set a clean time too . It was the last section of the track that seemed to catch me out . I was tempted to give it some downforce to help but i thought " naahhhh ’ only slows her down A wee bit of throttle control helped me through the twisty section .
Found the best way was approach the twisty section, drop down to 3rd gear and as Vold said, throttle control it through the sections, it might seem slow but it does help speed up the time … which is slightly weird but you know what I mean
I can’t believe I’m the first one to beat your time … to say I’m chuffed with myself is an understatement
Exactly how i done it . Its funny how you look like you are going slow through the section , but when you look at the speedo youre actually sitting at around the 110 mph mark ! ! ! .
Man, I never thought I could high side a car, but that is exactly what I felt like ( though I don’t ride and have never done that ) if I messed up the kink at the end of the straight.
A twitch too much and…ow!
With that being said, I did manage a couple of clean laps and got a 03:32.995.

Heyo, hope nobody minds if I climb aboard. This is a wild one, and an absolute blast! I sneaked by with a 3:32.701 on Lap 5 (new personal best!). Masterful tune Voldemortt, kept all those ponies in check just enough to turn 'em without losing anything!
Now I’d like to beat, or at least match my time without the traction control I also hope to get some pictures soon.
