Ok so Im playing Forza 7 on PC and experiencing some weird issues. Its stuttering, but not your average case of stuttering.
So I started experiencing this while playing the demo and it kept happening in the full game after I bought it. When I start the game the menu is fine but when I start the race (either single or multi) things get laggy. And the lag carries on the entire race. Now comes the wired part: so I finish the race and then get into the next one. The game freezes as soon as i get in control of the car and after 10-15 seconds it closes itself. If I start it again it loads waaaay faster than it did at first and then when I enter a race there is no longer lag or stutter at all no matter how much details there are for the gpu to process, like weather conditions or other car reflections. I get a constant 58-60 fps with vsync, and a really smooth gameplay. Even If I play for 5 hours straight nothing becomes laggy. However if I close the pc and start it again the next minute everything starts all over again. The same lag at the beginning that causes the game to crash in the next race and then disappears mysteriously. My setup is gtx1050 ti with 8gb device memory and a I7 7700 (if I remember correctly). The pc is quite new (7 months old). I play on “recommended” dynamic settings (high) with car and livey on ultra, and 16x anisotropic filtering. Ive tried setting absolutely all to dynamic recommended and it dosent help at all.
Oh and I dont run game mode and game bar
