Hi, given that there are now OLED panels such as monitors and TVs, would it be possible via update to adjust the transparency of the HUD images in game? as white can burn or retain on the panel. Thank you
Burn in really doesn’t happen with OLED’s made in the last 4-5 years. Have an ungodly amount of hours on mine. No burn in.
It’s always a risk with the HUD stopping for hours if you play it for a couple of years, if it’s possible to make an adjustable transparency (which can be done very well) it would be better.
It hasn’t happened. I’ve abused this thing and it hasn’t happened. Been playing Forza regularly since I bought it. C1. It’s been a few years. LG has a setting where it moves the pixels of stationary objects. I was worried about channel logos. Burn in is so unlikely on recent OLED’s that I would not spend time worrying about it all. Others I know have had the same experience. It was early OLED’s that really suffered from this.
Im getting HUD burn ins and ive only been playing the game for a couple hours
I would exchange it something is very wrong or you have an early model OLED. How come mine 3 yrs old and I’ve been playing Forza does not? Yet in a few hours you’re getting it? That is completely abnormal. Possibly you are seeing image retention but that isn’t the same thing as permanent burn in. Image retention goes away in seconds it’s normal, it’s not wear. You cannot wear out a pixel in a matter of hours which is what burn in is.
