I have Storm Island installed and even pinned. I don’t see how you get to play it either directly or within the game.
Have same question with car expansion packs; thought would change cars available in the garage as does Forza 5 but no.
I don’t understand what you’re asking after the semi-colon.
As for Storm Island, install the content. Then load up the game and drive/fast travel to Nice-Massena. At the marina you will find a fast travel only beacon to ferry you to Storm Island.
I think the question after the semi-colon is about how to get the DLC car packs into your garage which you do (from memory) by buying them for free (price 0CR) from the Autoshow. I could have this wrong because I haven’t bought a car pack since the Mobil 1 one, and I may have forgotten.
First have to say I am a newbie at this game. I have installed Storm Island. I drove to the marina. I have not found anything that could be a fast travel beacon. Having said that I really don’t know what I am looking for (i.e. what the beacon looks like) or even when planning a route, how you use the fast travel option.
I found my way to what appears to be a ferry terminal with an area that seems to provide to multiple rows of cars to park while awaiting a ferry. All I found there were two food stands, a telephone booth, some garbage cans, some fencing
As regards the other expansion pacs with autos, some of which are free, I see that they are installed, but don’t know how I access these cars. Thought they would show under My Cars in the Garage but no.
You may not be far enough in the game for it to open up. How many championships have you done?
Any DLC cars are available via the autoshow.
The Storm Island beacon should be visible on your world map along the coast in Nice, either drive to it or fast travel
RE championships. I have done two, won one. I am not sure what “beacons” are? I see icons that when click on them say “speed traps” of “XP” or “Travel discount” These are all I see in the Nice area.
You just need to progress through the game more by playing more championships.

You do. I just don’t know how far. It’s the same thing for online play and car meets.
so you pay money for game addon, but you cannot use the addon you paid money for. thanks a lot microsoft. please tell me how many championships you have to win, or whatever it is i have to do, wasting a lot of my time to access the only update i have bought on xbox one, the storm island expansion. i paid for it why cant i use it? (it is greyed out in pause menu). before i paid for it there was nothing written anywhere that i have to achieve some certain level of championship wins.
have you not read what has previously been said in this thread…you have to play a little bit into the game first…it should unlock at about the same time you get use multiplayer, join clubs…i’m pretty sure it’s after you race the train, after about the 3rd championship is completed
just play the game … a few games are a bit like this now…you need to play a bit before other areas open up
it’s the same with barn finds,rivals, your garage and the autoshow, they aren’t all available from the beginning, they open up a lil bit at a time
I found it unlocked when I reached at least 12 or 13. Grabbed a few XP boards and won a race series to get over the line.
Have now arrived. Looks awesome!
I see how Autoshow opened up so could then access cars had acquired thru add ons.
Wished there was a statement somewhere when bought add ons that they would not be available right away for new players.

same problem here. And I went to find the ferry and no luck. It just sent me to select a event from the list of events. Did I miss something here?
I am at level 55 and still have no barn finds. What gives? What are you doing to get your barn finds, Anybody please restond?
