With FH1 being backwards compatible, is there a way to get them? Surely they must be reinstated as DLC if it is playable again on X1
I got the Rally and 1000 club DLC in game (whatever the store was called) on the Xbox One
^ What region are you from? It’s kinda strange that they would block the DLC (for the most part, but there are ways to circumvent if you have the codes) on 360 but not on Xbox One.
Does the big shot feature for photo mode work on Xbox One (you know, the 8 megapixel\4K feature)?
Try to get in the in-game marketplace (It’s a location in the Festival Central Area). Browse the options there and it should display “Acquired” or something similar in what you already have. Click in the options available without acquired and see what happens.
Some people “reported” they could download in the Xbox One. The same way the first Borderlands (which was Games With Gold some months ago) allow you to download the DLC for free in the Xbox One. Not in the Xbox 360. Only on the Xbox One.
I am not sure about these reports because often people don’t know exactly what they are talking about and some don’t remember they own the content with their accounts. But it’s worth a try for those who don’t have it.
Apart from this strange situation above, the way to get is using a Code. Redeemed codes usually work years after the delisting, because they are theoretically already sold/pre paid.
So if you can find the Rally Expansion at retail, you can redeem the code and download it immediatelly in the Xbox 360. If using other Xbox 360 or redeeming from the website you can download from history later like any other thing or from the in-game marketplace in the Rally Expansion/Focus SVT option. In the Xbox One you can download from the Forza Horizon store page after redeeming it. Search Forza Horizon in the store to reach it. Go to the main game page and then to the add-ons page and check all the content there.
Edit: People worried if the situation above is a loophole/oversight, it doesn’t seem to be.
It seems the Borderlands Game of the Year was the version added in the backward compatibility program and given in games with gold. This version includes the 4 DLC in the disc.
And the Horizon situation is the same, because DLC like the 1000 Club was free, not paid DLC.
