How to get previous reward cars?

@Harawanagangsta, everyone is aware that these FOMO rides will come back around when T10 runs out of content to supply so there’s no problem as that will happen within a year from now.

This time round I bought the standard ed outright as paying a monthly fee for a broken game that won’t be fully up and running before the end of my AU$120 outlay is just bonkers, it would cost me double the one off fee and now I own it outright I can walk away when I get bored and return at a later date even if the game is withdrawn from sale like FM7

Please do harrass them about this. It’s absolutely absurd and toxic

Okay so I missed out on the previous spotlight car for the Open Class tour in the Builder’s Cup. I believe it was a red classic 911 with a wide bodykit or something.

How do I get it since there’s no Auction House?

They’ll probably issue paid vouchers at some point.

Based on what I have seen in FH4 and FH5, once you miss a car, there is no way to get one. There isn’t an auction house in FM either. Even if there was, no one is willing to part with their car. This is why I have shared my opinion regarding FOMO strategy.

If life gets in the way, Forza’s philosophy now is too bad, too sad, stay mad.

Sometimes, some old fomo cars are back on seasonal events. But yeah that change nothing, if you miss it too, so you miss the car too. And Auction you got something like 1% chance to got the fomo car you want, but you also need the money for buy it at crazy prices.

So they do “updates” who add “new contents” but if you miss the events, you can’t really find back this “new contents” on the game. So their updates doesn’t make sense because they add contents, for finally remove it, for whose who miss the delay.

You can find a lot of horizons players who aren’t still playing the game, but they connect each new seasonal event for take the new cars, then leave the game, and do the same for the next one.

0 respect for the consumers, they just want numbers with FOMO, instead of working on a game for keep the players engaged with it. FM follow now that path

Judging by Horizon they’ll come back around at some point when they’re running low on new content. Probably not for a while though. There’s no auction house right now, so the FOMO cars are completely unobtainable for now.

Thanks for your input you guys, appreciate it “bigly” :grinning:

I’ve voted on both the threads.

Oh, get out of here with that nonsense. Some people have lives that involve other things that take priority over video games. Life happens. Players should not be punished by having content withheld indefinitely simply because they failed to play when Turn 10 mandated.

It would be one thing if they were merely cosmetic items like liveries or vinyls. Cars are the basis of this entire game. To offer these “reward cars” briefly and then render them forever unattainable is anti-consumer and is like sticking up their finger (I’ll let you guess which one) to players who have missed out.

edit: Curious and amusing that you’ve since deleted the post that I quoted.

You don’t.

Great response!

Life happens and you just can’t get around it. Especially having the Premium pre-ordered edition and being a VIP and all that, we should be able to get these cars later via the dealership. I don’t mind buying em. They don’t have to be free.

Again, very well said  :+1:

Spotlight cars are different from prize cars.

Spotlight cars are the new (or I guess now not necessarily now that we’re seeing the R34 as a spotlight car) cars added to the shop regularly. These cars are discounted while they’re in the “spotlight”, but you can still get them later, you will only miss the discount.

Prize cars for the Open Tour and Featured Tours, on the other hand, are currently ungettable if you miss the window.

There is the issue, wrong priorities.

Gaming is life!!!

But yeah, seriously, I completely agree.

I was able to get the car litteraly minutes before it was gone.

Well, tough luck. I didn’t have the time to sit down and grind away for hours.
