How to earn Credits quickly for expensive items

This is a path to easy credits. X class car, preferable an FE with clean skills boost as this gives 6000 per ultimate clean skill and will be x5.

Race for 40 laps, yes a somewhat boring 2hr’s 20m. Split this into chunks of it helps.

Now you have 2m credits but that’s not the best of it.

Spend the 600+ perk points on the Porsche or fairlady with 300k unlockable plus take the 1 point wheelspin.
That’s another guaranteed 4.5m credits.

Then you have the wheelspins, 40 from the ‘racing’, plus 30 from the cars. That’s another min 1m plus some cars. Ignore all the emotes and clothes, you burn through them soon enough when you’re banking this many spins on a regular basis.

If you don’t directly need the cash, just use the perks to unlock the wheelspins on the junk cars in you garage before you burn them, average of 10 points per spin plus you get a few free ones as you get influence for spending the points.

Sure it’s a bit of a grind, but is a consistent money maker.

Fairly quickly you get to the point where credits aren’t an issue and you can just focus on doing what you like rather than cashflow.

I now have >70m , all houses, castles etc. All the wheelspin only cars, even getting dupes on those now. Just a few legendary and epic clothing items and that’s done too.

You can also just grind skill points on the beach dunes by the castle. That = cr and levels. Also head to head are simple and get levels fast which add wheel spins

Roll around in last place inonline racing unless wreckingand banging are your thing. I own all the houses, can tune and upgrade every car I have if there was an actual need for it.
I have over 20 million credits right now.
Gotta spend an entire day going through skill points and trashing cars though. Not even wheelspins give me anything useful now.
Speaking of skill points, if you don’t spend them on every car there are cars with nice payouts in them as well as wheelspins. I generally use skill points in this manner when clearing out duplicates. I currently have over 900 skill points banked for that reason, gotta clean out the garage again.

just do custom route races that are made by other players and look for ones that have something in the title related to money for example “Money money money” or “$” and they pay you around 20,000 cr depending on how many laps there are. It’s 20,000cr for racing 3 laps.

I would geusstimate I have completed about 90% of the original game without doing any of the fortune island update. Despite how much of the game I have completed I currently only have about 3,330,700 credits. I have also spent about 7, 000, 000 credits on buying some properties and cars. So, after completing about 90% of the game I have earned about 10, 300, 000 credits.

There are still 3 properties I need to buy and in total, to buy all 3 I need 30, 000, 000 credits. How am I going to get the other 26, 500, 000 credits I need when I only have about 10% of the game to finish?

Am I doing something wrong?

Your cars are stuffed full of wheelspins, grind some perk points in a suitable car like escort turbo or Renault 5 Fe with X 7 multi and lots of power.

Spending perk points also levels you though influence so give more spins.

Do some long blue print races, you earn 1m per hour plus some level up spins for drifting etc. Highway loop is profitable but boring, Goliath more fun but less perk points unless you are good at drifting.

Buy the Porsche or nissan with 300k perk for 150k then 20 perk points is 150k profit + a wheel spin. You can make 3m per hour with this easy.

Always spend the 10 or so perk points on any car you plan to delete as 3 mins of stunting is a cheap wheelspin.

Stream FH4 on mixer until you are level 20, that’s an easy 100 spins.

Yes it’s a bit of a grind, but is the best legit way to make credit. I try to find things that buidl skills while earning and ended up with 80m spare, all castles and houses etc by half way through second prestige though I was going for wheel spins to get the junk out of the way.

Have fun

It can get a bit of a grind at times, but try doing the following:

  1. Do races with Forza Edition cars that give you credits or influence bonuses instead of using normal cars
  2. Keep leveling up your Horizon Life racing series, you’ll get credit bonuses and wheelspins quite regularly. Focus on completing series that you might have neglected (ie have a go at Cross Country if you’ve traditionally focussed on Road Racing), and go back and try PR Stunts that you haven’t got 3 stars on
  3. Compete in the weekly Seasonal tournaments and the Trial, they often have cash prizes
  4. Buy Bamburgh Castle prior to Edinburgh - it’s cheaper, and you’ll often get ~$1-2m back in the wheelspins that you get for buying it which can give you a kickstart towards Edinburgh
  5. Go through your car list and sell duplicates that you don’t want/need any more, especially Forza Edition cars which can be worth a bit (except for a few really common ones)
  6. Blueprint events to give you longer races, you’ll get money faster as you’re spending more time racing (and earning) and less down-time in between
  7. Make sure that you’ve 3-starred all the Stories (Drift, Stunt Driver, LaRacer) and Businesses (World’s Fastest Rentals, Isha’s Taxis)

@HIR07A and @decto both of you forgot mention becomming part of “legendary” painter or tuner cartel what is way to make hundreas of millions in just one day. But all other stuff you nailed it allready.

How does one do this, exactly?

All the other recommendations are great. Another way is using less assists and racing at higher difficulty levels.

I own every house, I have over 550 cars (and have bought only a few) and have about 20,000,000 in the bank. I don’t even hesitate to upgrade cars for 100,000 credits for specific events. I haven’t completed all the exhibitions but have all the stars for all the stories, danger signs, drift zones, speed traps and speed zones.

I’m a single dad and probably play Horizon at most 10 hours a week on average.

Depending on the event, I change the racing line from Full to Braking only, and use rewind about 1/2 the time, otherwise all assists are off. I then race against Expert drivers up to Unbeatable depending on the event type and car class.

I was actually coming to the boards to ask if anyone had successfully bought Edinburgh Castle. At a 30,000,000 buy-in, that is an AMAZING amount of money (I wasn’t even holding onto that much in FH3 when I had more money than I knew what to do with thanks to my VIP wheelspins, let alone now when the wheels are polluted by emotes and clothes).

Need a screenshot saying it’s 30M. It was always 15M.

teehee, I remember that and the cheat code days!

Selling Cars on the Auction house and save up through races and wheelspins is the best thing i can tell you. DO NOT try to glitch as it will result as a ban most times.

Don’t forget all the wheelspins and cash hidden in the cars themselves. Always check the skills trees for every car you get into. Some take ~20 points to get 200-300k payouts(like the 240 Z432 or Porsche 930), and many only take 3 points to get to a wheelspin, some of those give you two spins. You can also get MORE wheelspins just for spending the points.

If you have lots of skill points, you can buy a 930 turbo for 150k, unlock the 300k (and one of the two wheelspins)and make a profit just by HAVING the car and some points. You can probably try to sell them in the AH, but I just delete them as it’s too much of a hassle for the 15k you’ll get. Don’t bother spending another 20 points for the top wheelspin though, you can get to another wheelspin/300k combo for just one more point. There are several cars that have the same tree, there are lists here somewhere.

Use high skill point cars like the Renault 5 FE maxed out with perks that can get 7X multipliers(10 on a skill song) with two-hit protection for strings and you can rack up a bunch just goofing off using one for point-to-point travel and goofing around in skill areas. Then take the perks and ‘buy’ yourself some profit  If you listen to timeless, some skill songs are over 7:30 long. At the airport, you can get 5+ full skill changes(500k/10 points) on one of those songs, and potentially end up with enough to ‘cash out’ at least three Porsches, giving you a guaranteed 450k profit and usually 6 wheelspins just pushing a few buttons in the menu. If you’re doing skill chains, stop dead at 500,001 points, after that it’s worthless. Anything under will add to the next incomplete skill point, after 500k, you don’t get any more credit.

Not sure I would bother trying to become a ‘legendary painter’. What you have to do is sit around in your underwear waiting for the first second you can get a new DLC car and paint it one color and put up your ‘work’ in the market. For some reason people will download that super special hue of green you put on it thousands of times??? You COULD make one decal of a well-endowed anime character you could dump on the side, flip the car and copy all if you really want to guarantee ‘legendary’ status. It can be fairly crappy as the pics are so small it will take a download to figure out if it actually looks decent. You have about 8 minutes to get it done from the time the DLC goes live, good luck!

If you are a truly talented painter with hundreds of 5 star liveries you made in previous FM games, by the time you upload your incredibly detailed painstaking designs and recreations(even an import) you’ll be too late to the punch for anyone to ever see it. Then you have to become an online real-estate agent to get your stuff out on the internet outside of the game to get players to somehow see that you made it. Hopefully, after investing even more hours, someone may actually download it.

I bought Edinburgh castle with my last few pennies, within 2 minutes I had 10 million back! I sold cars on the Auction that I had painted, and they just Bought out. It was rare for my cars to buy at full price, but I was lucky.

Hey guys
I wonder how do you guys make money and get skill points in FH4, i have yet not found a way to make max money/credits.
Do you guys have good tips for that?
Have a great day
