I was in the view history section of my cars and i noticed that there is any area for how many owners your car has been through. From my horizon days this meant who did you get that car from. I wonder if this could possible be a forshadow of things to come or am i looking at this wrong.
I’d wager that it is more likely a feature from previous titles that was left in despite serving no purpose with the current set up.
Sorry cant be that as the game was built from the ground up, possibly it was a slight change in plans from what T10 originally had in mind bearing in mind that the AH was a big cause for glitching credits in a couple of previous releases.
But i remember the days on forza 2, when i used to do my own tunes, i had a lotus exige cup 240, still have a love of that car 
I would sell 5 cars per week via the auction house on there, my own tunes and my own paint job, nothing special just an authentic 240 cup replica and limited edition number board.
I would get a couple of messages from people that owned the car asking for the car to be unlocked LOL unlocked tune set up and unlocked paint job. This was from the 5th or 6th owner it went round the friends list and everyone wanted one. This was a level 5 car tuned and with a top 100 leaderboard time.

I like the history of them too i was just hoping i might have stumbled across a future feature. If not im not worried cuz i love me some Forza!
yep. It was always interesting, especially back in FM2 to see how many owners a car had passed hands through.
When you view history of a car at the bottom it shows you number of owners and original ower.
seems like a tease for an auction house, or atleast able to gift eachother cars.

It’s a joke that people think forza 5 was built from the ground up! it’s the same code as forza 2 ,with some extras on a faster machine! forza 6 maybe but this is the same game as forza 2 with the same glitches! ground up lol
maybe my memory is faulty but i dont remember this many problems/glitches with fm2. i never had to reboot my 360 or lost a game save. fm2 never locked up on me, the only game that did was oblivion. i probably would have been happier with fm2 released for the xb1. atleast i could gift cars.
Man, I know you guys that had the other Forzas are upset with issues in this game. However, can’t we just take the game for what it is and enjoy it? Literally, the last game I owned before Forza 5 was Space Invaders on an old Atari system. I have nothing to compare this game to and can only judge it by why is in front of me now. This game has lots of glitches, but its still pretty awesome. Despite its short comings, its still the best racing game available today in so many ways. Does it constantly need to be picked apart for what it is missing? I very much like what it has and don’t see the need for all the Debbie Downers that want to constantly take shots at Turn10.

Wow in that case I’d seriously say buy yourself a 360 and check out the back catalogue of Forza’s start with fm2 and go through them all very very good games with interesting horsepower capped events, factory spec events and a twisty bendy sidewinder track that’ll make your fingers twitch.
