How is the Horizon Hot Wheels Park able to exist?

First off, I know it’s a game and fictional. But still, the whole park is such an impossible place to exist. For example, how can there be hot jungles right next to a snow and ice section that doesn’t melt? How is it kept in the air? When you’re on the edges you’ll hear a noise from some kind of engines but a place like that would need to be refuelled almost constantly. The thing that’s most mind-boggling is why is it so high in the sky? Haley says it’s no less than 50 miles above Mexico. I’m assuming she means height because you can see the normal Mexico map below. And if that’s the case how is everything and everyone able to survive? And how do cars drive without oxygen? There’s no dome covering the islands for a pressurised atmosphere?

think “Halo” and you should be okay - it’s a Forerunner installation, they were given Hot Wheels toys by the Precursors

Don’t even try to understand, they just don’t care about realism anymore

It’s set in the future where we all live in the Matrix.

Isn’t 50 miles pretty much low Earth orbit?

It’s almost space yeah. They just need 12 more miles:

Same reason we have 220mph GTis. Fun.
It’s a “theme park”
Physics parks usually go bankrupt.

There’s no police in Mexico either. Unless you masquerade as one. But there’s also no charges brought against you if you do masquerade as a police person. I had assumed such shenanigans are frowned upon in Mexico.

If you knife jack a truck off the road. Nobody gets out to ask for insurance details. They just move on their way. Not even a black eye for driving dangerously. Weird.

Biggest thing is I’ve seen cars just vanish into thin air! True!

There’s somethin’ weird going on guys, somethin’ really weird going down in Mexico.

Maybe I’ll ring in to the “Scotty Tyler” show presuming that feller ever stops stuffing his face.

It’s a game

Yeah… I don’t think that view is 50 miles high. Maybe 5 miles high. And really it’s a stretch calling it a fictional game, I’d say a fantasy game, and that may be generous.

What about a fictional, fantasy game?

Suspension of disbelief holds it there.

Plasma torus centrifuge. It’s only supporting a fraction of its actual weight.

I mean uh… Wagon Wheels.

You know, it’s not the how that bugs me (it’s just an Engineering problem  )… it’s not even the why (because, why not !)… it’s the who paid for it ! that snapped my belief suspenders. And then while I was admiring my latest Forza $ock$ as I was pulling my Forza pant$ up, having bought the new wardrobe additions to the tune of nearly seven figures again, it hit me…

THAT’S WHY THE CLOTHES COST SO MUCH IN THIS GAME !

how is mankind able to exist?

There is a door, through the door lies a field, at the end of the field is a runway, past the runway is a city, walk past the city and there are daisies, many, many daisies too many daisies to count. After the daisies lies the key the key will open a door, through that door lies a field, at the end of the field there is a runway…

Just repeat to yourself: “It’s just a game. I should really just relax.”

I was being serious though, we will some day live in a VR world where we can create anything we want.

Maybe we already do

We do, I have a mathematical proof.
