My Forza 5 game is crashing constantly when trying to load tunes or even just browsing upgrade tunes. It crashes to the dashboard not allowing me to load the tune. I would try a reinstall, but I am afraid that I will lose everything. I have over 100 upgraded cars, over 13 million credits, and I am over level 750. I bought both VIP and the 60 car pack. How do I fix this without losing my stuff? Thanks. I almost forgot to mention that I have tried the hard reset several times with no luck.
I do not know if a reinstall will fix your issue but it will not make you lose progress.
Make sure you are at the very first menu of the game and then go to dashboard. On the big Forza 5 tile press the menu button and choose uninstall.
Once done reboot your console and reinstall the game letting it fully install.
Your saved game will not be touched because it resides in the cloud.

I did the uninstall and reinstall and unfortunately the issue remains. There is an option to uninstall game and add ons also, but I chose the regular uninstall. Any chance doing that uninstall woud help? Any other ideas? Thanks
Forza 5 crashed about 3-4 times a night in a 4 hour span every night and it blows. For me it is usually while I am playing in a multiplayer lobby. I haven’t seen or heard of any fixes for the crashes and I am not about to say it is the Xbox 1’s fault lol…
Last few nights I have been playing Powerstar Golf and Peggle 2. Crashed to dash 3-4 times per night. I think at least some of the crashing is something to do with the console.
I’ve been having a crashing issue also. I have called microsoft and tried everything they suggested. Resetting console, reinstalling the game 6x, clearing cache, etc. Still crashes when loading tracks to home screen or freezes during a race only to go back to home screen. If ANYONE has a fix for this I would appreciate it. I really want to play the game. Also I played Tomb Raider and Dead Rising 3 to completion with no problems at all. Just Forza 5. 
I uninstalled everything including all dlc and then reinstalled, but still have the issue. I called Microsoft support and all they had me try was the hard reset, holding the power button down and unplugging. I told them I already tried that a dozen times. Now I have to go to a higher up tech and am supposed to receive a call within 4 days. I guess there is no hurry for them. The funny thing is, I like the Ben and Jerry’s Half Baked ice cream, and now when I eat it I think of the Xbox One which is definitely Half Baked.
