Hot lappers

Looking for some hot lappers to put my latest tune to the test.
Report back and let me know how the car handles and if it’s any good.

Any track will do, the brake pressure is at 145%

Car: Honda NSX-R 2005
Class: A 700
Creator: RoG Shadow RV

Yes! Tasteful brake pressure!

Where would it run best at?

Anywhere you fancy, I’m still new to tuning but I use hock as a test track, it’s pretty stable so should run most tracks.

I haven’t done much A class yet, so figured this was a good time.
All laps were first flying lap, or first clean lap if I messed up, only to mean there’s much more in them.

Alps Festival 1:52.6 #943
Bathurst 2:17.148 #567
COTA 2:22.01 #735

It is very stable, maybe too stable for my preference. I feel it understeers a lot. There are places on bath and COTA that I feel like I have to over-slow the car. But its very easy to hop and go pretty fast.

Thanks man, that’s the kinda feedback I’m after.

Nürburgring GP Day - 2:12.253 (582 of 9734 ww)
Road Atlanta Day - 1:33.463 (2685 of 178745 ww)
Laguna Seca Day - 1:37.100 (3754 of 50357 ww)

I agree with dowardCSP about feeling understeer, but I wouldn’t classify it as “a lot”. I should note, though, I prefer understeer and typically tune it into my RWD builds, so I’m used to driving against it.

What I immediately noticed was the soft suspension. On Road Atlanta, I bottomed out the back springs rolling over kerbs and the front springs under heavy braking. The rebound was stiff enough, though, that I hardly noticed.

That being said, I felt the braking was superb. If I changed anything with the brakes, I might move it a point or two more to the back.

As a personal preference, I wish the gears were closer together. Even on Road Atlanta, I never saw the top of 6th. That preference may stem from Career Mode – where I favour a stupid good start and plenty of low speed acceleration for passing in the turns. (I’ve never raced for time before, so I have no idea if those characteristics are good for time trials).

This is the first time I’ve ever driven an NSX-R, so I have only this experience to reference. I got in the car; I went fast. I’d call it a success!

Awesome! thanks for the feedback, I do tend to tune oversteer out of my cars due to lack of experience with running without assists especially with RWD, only been running without since forza 6.
I build my cars for lobby racing so stability is a must for when you get knocked around, all personal preference though what works for me will not for others.

Thanks to those that have tested, it’s been eye opening
