Horizon edition cars are unfair on multiplayer

I’m getting first on all races but someone with a horizon edition car who doesn’t even finish races becomes first and it’s not fair. I think whole multiplayer xp system needs to be re-programmed. I like it when you race clean it gives you good boost to xp but HE boost doesn’t make any sense

Yeah i agree. The same thing happened with me, i was ahead by about 4000 exp and after the race i was in 2nd about 10000exp behind 1st. Its bs. They should let players get the extra exp but not count it towards standings. Not even sure why they would think that would be ok and not make people irritated.

The bonus should be disabled for multiplayer standings. People are drifting at the back of the pack and farming points that way, not even doing what they are supposed to be doing.

Your move, Forza dev team.

its hard to race clean when everyone bumps into you killing your skill chains

I agree. If you get first AND get good skill combos sometimes you can counter this, but that’s a lot easier said than done when vast majority of online racers just use walls/other people as their brakes…

exactly why i stay behind and just drift but its no fun in the end so i dont even play online anymore

what would be fun is normal win points championships, drift races with no traffic option, drag racing by car class, etc in my opinion

Yep, I agree completely. Still crossing my fingers that the “expansion” stuff will add something to the drag and drift like Storm Island did for Rally in FH2.

I’ve been posting about that type of thing in forzas from 4 to Horizon to 6 (didn’t play 5 much, no Xbox one) to now so who knows if it’ll ever get addressed or changed. I hope so, but we’ll see.

here’s an idea…MP custom with NO colllisions

Can’t understand why there is not a Championship with normal points…
Online in Horizon 2 was bad, but in Horizon 3 is worse… A huge pile of garbage.

Also HE Cars (i have 4 of them) and the ones with XP boost are nonsense, is like saying that the other 350 cars are useless because you can’t compete in any ways with the “boosts” of HE cars.

Total nonsense.

They must add an option to prevent HE cars to be used in online races.

I disagree.

I have done a few online sessions now and have not been using HE cars.

I race to win (not to drift) and I have won the XP leaderboard regularly by winning races.

I guarantee you, you won’t ever end up near first place when other people are abusing HE cars.
I get 300-400k total EXP in a single online championship with ease.

And i will be happy if i win 4 races. I am playing for the activity not some leaderboard.

But apparently i have not raced against you yet because winning races has won me the xp leaderboard.

Without an XP or skills boost car, I can easily win the overall XP leaderboard by drifting and coming last EVERY race. The same exact problem that existed in FH2 exists in FH3, but is made worse with the use of XP and skills boost cars.

Yes, but you’re also one of the best drivers out there. It’s pretty hard for the average Joe to compete against these HE cars.

And you have to admit, spinning donuts at the start line goes against the spirit of this being a “race”, especially if that person actually WINS said race as a result.

Drifting is popular enough to have its own event type, then we could have races that are about, y’know, racing.

I thought the complaint was you can not win the XP leaderboard even if you win 4 races.

I guess I must have been lucky and even though everyone except me seemed to be drifting and some were in HE cars they were obviously not good at milking it.

Either way my enjoyment does not come from the xp leaderboard but from winning in cars that people laugh at.

I am waiting for B class to get voted in. The laughs will stop then lol.

I suppose when I totally exhaust the single player content it will be time to move on to the next game unless some sort of corrective action is taken by T10.
