With the release of the Xbox One X later this year, it looks like Forza Horizon 4 will be released before the true next generation of game consoles. Which makes me glad because it’s looking likely that I’ll be able to play FH4 without buying a new console. Granted, I’m going based off the theory Motorsport/Horizon comes out every year.
Anyway, I know it’s been announced that games will be able to be played on both OG Xbox and Xbox X, but still with everyone’s giant expectations for the Horizon series, would anyone prefer FH4 to be an Xbox X exclusive? This way they can push the game to the X’s limits without worrying about the OG Xbox’s limits. Or is there anyone who would rather Forza take a break till the next gen? That way, They can make a truly large impressive map not possible on the One.
The model X is not considered a new system. Microsoft has been pretty solid on the fact that there will be no such thing as “Xbox One X Exclusive” games. If anything, It will be similar to the Horizon 2 port they did on Xbox 360. The model X version might have some extra features and way better graphics, but they will essentially be the same game.
The model X is built almost entirely for graphics. The CPU is not much more powerful than the original Xbox One. Most of the extra memory is utilized for 4K assets and graphics caching. Games are simply going to run smoother and look better, but they will play exactly the same as they do one the original Xbox One.
Forza Horizon 4 NEEDS to be on xbox one and not xbox x because now these days pretty mush everyone have an xbox one and don’t want to buy an xbox x so I wish that turn 10 will be thinking before puting this game out.
