Currently there are only 3 locations for Hide & Seek. Mulegé, Playa Azul and Guanajuato but there are plenty of other possible areas that would be great for new zones.
Guanajuato is by far, the most difficult zone for seekers. So much so, that around 50% of the time I play, fellow seekers just give up and quit which isn’t something developers should want since player dissatisfaction kills games. There’s not much to be done about the Guanajuato zone but adding some new zones to go along with Mulegé and Playa Azul would limit the frequency of Guanajuato coming up.
Pinging really needs to be tweaked. Proximity to the Hider isnt always sufficient. Many times, I have to have a very clear line of sight + proximity but I can’t count how many times, my pings miss when I can clearly see the hider directly in front of me. My radar is completely full so I’m in the right spot. I’m obviously close enough for their chase breaker to get me so how about evening out the odds a bit?
