Here is how to get steering wheel working [G27]

At the moment there are 2 ways to get steering wheels working.

Either plug a xbox controller in and use logitech profiler to assign the wheels inputs to the xbox controllers. This way works best.

Other wise you need to download XOutPut
Use these settings,

There seems to be a issue where the pedals coming up on G27 are the same as right stick up or down.
So you need to use profile 14 for the controller which assigns that to useless buttons.

Still makes the menu quite a fight since it thinks your pushing stick up and down really fast but mouse can over ride it. Or hold the pedals down.

Can someone make a setting for G25 as well?

BTW, on my computer it seems like this software isn’t working at all. I’ve tried fiddling with different setups for my G25, but when I try them inside the game, the game doesn’t respond to any buttons or axis.
Any suggestions?

Anyways, hope they release a update with wheel support as soon as possible. This game needs it.

re-mapping the wheel to a controller is not the same as having wheel support
not even close

Yep! I agree, it’s worse than try to drive with the thumbs, I will wait for them to launch an update to steering wheels.

It’s not too bad. It’s like driving with no FFB.

Can you please be a little bit more specific? Using logitech profiler to assign the wheels input? And how should we do that?

For this to work I would have to be able to get forza to see my xbox controller first.

New user here… I definitely appreciate this workaround! Your settings worked great for me as far as getting the buttons/axes to do what I wanted them to…

Unfortunately, the speed sensitive steering dampening makes the game literally unplayable with the G27 for me. I was using “simulation” steering from the start, but it still massively dampens the amount I’m turning the in-game wheel if I get the car up to any kind of speed. If I’m above 40-50 mph, I can turn the physical wheel to full lock, but looking at the steering telemetry in-game it’s only turning maybe a third of the way to full lock… at 80+ mph to make a very slight corner I have to turn the physical wheel a full turn to not even get 10% lock in one direction.

Is there any way to fully disable the steering dampening?
