Hey guys, newbie here and i have some questions.

First, let me start off by saying that i apologize if this topic is not in the right thread or what not. I am brand new and have little info on how things work here. Secondly, I do not even own this game, but i do have some Q’s regarding the game, so here goes.

  1. I noticed that in the trailer, the doors could be opened. Can this happen in the game, or was that just a function of the video?
  2. I also noticed that some spoilers for some cars activated and went up towards high speeds. Can i edit this so that they always stay up?

  1. Just for the video, there’s no need to open the doors.

  2. Active Aero does work and some pars have it permanently put in race mode. The Bugatti wing will go up at a certain speed, while the McLaren P1 wing is up in race mode.

Okay thanks for the help. I noticed a video where the Hennessey venom GT’s spoiler could be put either up or down, so I wasn’t sure. Also, do you know if it is possible to customize brake caliper colors?

I think the P1’s wing can be lowered by buying a spoiler delete, but I could be wrong. The only way to change the brake caliper color is to install a Sport or Race brake kit. You can have any color race calipers you want, as long at it’s red. :wink:

Just to chime in; no car with spoilers (in real life or in a game) perform better by having angle X always. That is why more modern/expensive cars have adjustable spoilers and/or adjustable suspension all computer-controlled depending on speed, G-forces and so on.

No and No, the aero is controlled by the speed you’re going, you can’t manually change this to always keep the spoiler up (or down) if that’s what you were asking

The doors open at the car meets, but generally, no, you don’t open the doors

I wish you could keep spoilers up though. I usually add the forza spoiler if I want to keep it down

The McLaren P1’s wing NEVER folds away, even when stopped/parked. Kind of annoying TBH.

  1. You can open the left door, but that’s only in the upgrade section, the autoshow and car meets, when the camera is viewing the car at different angles. It’ll only happen at car meets when you select someones car, even your own. Not available in free roam. I assume it was a dev hack during the trailer. lol

  2. The only car I can think of with the spoiler that stays up at any speed is the Hennessey Venom GT. You can also buy the lowered version. If you’re planning on taking a photo of a car with it’s wing up like it’s sitting still, just turn the “Shutter Speed” option down to 0.

  3. Brake calipers can only be painted different colours in Forza Motorsport 2. No other Forza game has this option. (Which is beyond me, great personalization tool).
