Help with uploaded designs becoming orivate

As above.

I’ve uploaded a few of my designs and can see them on the store front but when I go to view in my files they no longer say public so I can’t keep track of my stats. Where are the disappearing to? Do they change if I edit the design?

if you edit an existing livery that you have uploaded to the storefront, when it comes time to saving it, you have two choices.

1: create an all new livery with the edited updates under Save and Share

2: Save by choosing “Overwriting Existing File”. This basically updates your current file with the alterations you’ve made.

I now chose this when “altering” an existing Shared Livery. Reason being, is that you don’t fill up the livery selection window with all your New Files.

Many new painters simply save and share each time they make even the smallest change. That’s when you see multiple liveries of either the same or almost identical liveries.

This spoils it for other painters trying to get on that first selection screen

But overall, don’t continually “Save And Share” every change… Hone your work until you’re 100% happy, then upload it.

If you’ve redesigned it, upload the new one and delete the older one off the storefront.

Thanks for your help. Unfortunately it looks like that’s what’s happened and I have a couple of duplicated liveries in the storefront. Apologies for that.

Is there any way to remove duplicates from the storefront?

No dont think you can. If you keep overwriting the save you can only unshare the latest version I believe.

I have a similar problem in Forza 6. I can see my designs on the storefront, or “search designs” but some of those designs have disappeared from my design files. Is this a glitch or ???
