Deleting off of storefront

Hey all, I’ll try my best to explain my problem i’m experiencing.

This past weekend i completed two designs on two different cars and put them both on the storefront. Well, today I was messing around with one of those designs to make some changes- giving it a different color scheme. I gave it a different file name, too. As i backed out, a prompt asked me if i wanted to save the changes to my car. Confused because i thought i already did that, i just said yes and went to the main menu and turned off my Xbox. A few hours later i turned the Xbox back on to put the new design on the storefront and to take the current one off. I went to “Paint Car” then to “my Designs”. To my surprise, i noticed that both the old AND new file thumbnails’ were exactly the same, and the old file was now set to private. I thought, “well, ok, whatever, because I’m taking it off the storefront anyway.” But when I searched my name under “find designs”, I noticed the old design file was still there!

So my question is how do i get the old file off the storefront? I can’t do it from “My designs” because somehow i unintentionally overwrote the old design with the new and they’re all are set to private now. I really wanted to take the old one off and replace it.

If you have more than one save in your designs of the ‘same’ paint I do this:

Identify which one you want to keep. No matter which version you think you have on the car load the one you want to keep onto your car. At the bottom of the screen you should see that the one on your car, which you want does not offer the ability to delete. The other variants will be deletable and you can remove them from your design list.

This works for me but my only advice is be careful, very careful.

Personally I am finding the current livery editor pretty poor with numerous glitches, ponderous actions and ludicrously difficult to work with given the eye watering reflections off the cars in the paint booth.

Thanks but i had worked that out already. My point was we shouldn’t have to in the first place.
