Hey guys, I’m looking to try and run some ESDA events this season, and I want to find some solid tandem partners to practice with, mainly on ESDA sections. If anyone is running ESDA next season or is interested in getting ready for it with me reply below with your gamertag and I’ll add you. Or if you run tandem lobbies regularly that will suffice too lol, no points drifting please.
Point drifters actually can help with tandeming. Before you argue this to death lol let me explain. Point drifters often know some of the best lines to take through the turns, albeit they may not have the most stable car or the fastest, or best looking drift style around, the often can get the job done and can be pretty good as a lead car, setting the pace for everyone else.
I’m aware they can be good to tandem with, but they’re generally not interested in running the same section back and forth over and over. And the line is defined by the series coordinator, so them knowing good lines doesn’t really help lol.
lol it’s funny because that statement is true how we don’t like running the same section, but, those of us who tune drifters, run the SAME track more times than we can count lol. I am not much of a tandemer, but I have done some tandem drifting and don’t mind it all that much, just usually my set ups aren’t the best for them, but it’s still fun to try. I think my problem is I don’t like getting near things while drifting, although FH3 changed that a nif because of the freakin parking lot haha
