Im looking to improve my style of drift, because the team that took me in from day 1 have always drifted for points and it gave me a bad style.
i’ve always run max power on all my cars with stock tyres and i just can’t keep up with people to tandem with them.
help us out with some tunes or something? will pay if need be.
If you’re looking to get into the tandem scene I would highly recommend not running max power in all your cars, just find an amount for whatever car you’re driving that you think suits your driving style, just keep in mind that too much power in a car for a track that doesn’t need it makes it tricky for you to put it down and will not allow you to improve in the areas that you would like. For the car, make sure you’re running sport tyres and max rear width to get your car as grippy as possible and your front tyres are whatever you are comfortable with. One thing that I found most valuable through tuning on a controller was running no camber or toe on the rear tyres. Sometimes if you are willing to be a bit more playful with the angle, start running that bit of rear camber for a bit more angle. I drift with sport tires gives you better grip but not to much like race a drag will do but if you got a high horse power car you can use race
check out my store front. i have tons of dialed tandem and point tunes. each one is dialed in to perfection. most are tuned to hook 1st gear no spin, max angle, very stiff suspension to limit body roll and prevent loss of inertia. i have already sold hundreds of tunes and i also make over fenders as well. If you need a hand getting into the tandem scene i might be able to lend a hand, i haven’t played in almost 2 years and am a little rusty, so I’m looking for somebody to practice with.
