Anybody could share with me the configurations of Fanatec V2.5 and the game wheell settings on Forza Horizon 4? i have lot difficults to drift wheell very heavu…tks
This may help you but everyone if different,
Still playing around with the last 3 settings and between Sim and Normal steering, Sim does feel more responsive but Normal makes the Game enjoyable and less tedious,
Video of Wheel cam and settings…

Ingame Settings:
All assists off Manual + Clutch
Normal Steering ( testing between the 2 Sim and Norm )
Create a new Custom Profile and Map what you need and to map the HB correctly. ( HB may have been patched by now )
All dead zones 0 or 100
My clutch it a personal Deadzone,
FFB 100
Vibration 0-10 ( i feel this too high make you loose allot of other feeling thru FFB)
Spring + Damper - 0
FFB Understeer - 5
FFB Min Force - 10
Wheel Sens - 50
Last 2-3 are personal preference but have found the best results and feel from these numbers,
Fanatec Settings:
SEN: Auto / 900
FFB: 40-50
SHO: OFF
ABS: OFF
DRI: OFF
FOR: 100
SPR: OFF
DPR: OFF
BRF: 50
FEI: 100
Hey i had problems with my wheel on the game too. I looked everywhere to try and figure it out. Heres a vid with settings that worked great for me. Forza Horizon 4 LP EP13 - FIRST Thrustmaster TX Drifting + Wheel Settings | SLAPTrain - YouTube
He is using thrustmaster in vid but normally uses fanatec. He said setting work great for both his wheels. I have logitech g920 and it worked great for me. Just turning vibration off as he shows in the vid made a big difference. I can race and drift on these settings.
after a lot of fiddling i have come to the following settings for the CSW 2.5 which feel fairly realistic to me and allow for good car control during racing on road, off road and drifting:
game settings:
Sim Steering on
Vibration Scale: 0 (its just a fake arbitrary effect)
Force Feedback Scale: 100
Center Spring Scale: 0 (should be off by default or better yet nonexistant, its a concept from 20 years ago when FFB didn’t exist, don’t know why its still in games and even on by default)
Wheel Damper Scale: 0 (there is a much better damping setting in the CSW tuning menu, this one ruins the FFb noticeably)
Force Feedback Understeer: 100 (the description is wrong, 100 is off/the lowest setting!)
Force Feedback Minimum Force: 75 (without it the steering feels way too light around center in most cars)
Steering Sensivity: 50 (50 is the neutral/linear setting)
wheel settings:
SEN: 900
FFB: 60-80 (depends on the car, SUVs and trucks have extremely heavy steering in horizon 4 while some cars like the alpine renault a110 are undriveable due to a lack of feel when its set too low)
SHO: OFF
ABS: OFF
DRI: -2 (adds a bit of damping, much more natural than the damping in horizon, actually makes it feel somewhat life like and further reduces the lightness of horizon’s steering feel around the center)
FOR: 100 *
SPR: 100 *
DPR: 100 * (*the latter 3 should usually all be enabled as far as i understand it. they don’t actually introduce a center spring or damping effect and neither do they just carry the effects of the same in game settings. instead they should be understood as kind of three channels of force feedback similar to the two channels of a stereo sound file. although this depends on the individual game, but i believe in forza they need to be enabled.)
BRF: 50 (individual taste)
FEI: 30 (dampens heavy impacts from jumps, crashes, potholes, smashing through objects and the like. necessary with higher FFB settings while at the same time giving you more of a feeling that you’re driving an actual car with rubber wheels and suspension)
