Hi I need a nice drifter that is around s1 and possibly a tune so I can have a easier time in drift adventure and I use automatic gears so should I try manual gears.

Well for one, get out of automatic gears. They will not help you in any way, shape, or form. The reason being is if you rev to high, it shifts gears which can mess up your drift, and your line. Being able to control the gears is very essential. Next, make sure you have Traction and Stability control off. Traction Control just reduces the amount of power your car is putting out as soon as the car “loses it’s grip” and Stability Control will do the same as soon as the car gets too much angle and will try to correct itself.
As far as cars and classes go, pick a car that you would like to drive around normally. This can be just about any class out there from D to S2 class, I have build them in all classes although there are only a few D class drifters that actually work. Once you find a car you like, I would suggest trying to find a tuner out there that would not mind helping you to tune the car with you and briefly, if not fully describe the changes and why you make the changes so you understand and that you can learn to build the car by yourself next time.
If you are still having problems, when I am on, I am usually drifting since about 95% of the time, that is what I am doing, or messing with cars to make into drifters. If you want to learn on your own, more power to you. I have a tuning calculator that will even out your car’s suspension that works for all kinds of racing, not just drifting. If you want someone to walk you through building a car, then I can definitely help you if you catch me online.
GT : Senistr
Maybe you can catch me on stream even and see how I tune and possible drift around.
I have a few tunes that are very stable easy drift tunes… My favourite by far is a Merc SL 65FE…
You need to drop the automatic…
Also traction/stability off
Is there a specific car you would like to drift? Maybe we could make it work
I would start on one of the big roundabouts to practice… Then move to something with a transition… Then drift zones
yeah i like the nissan 240sx because it’s easy so could someone help me tune it
Check out my tunes, GT: wozz3rdozz3r I’m top 10 most drift zones and on my way to division 1 on ranked drift adventure
A Class RWD- AMC GREMLIN
A-Class AWD ABARTH
RWD S1+ -Ferrari 430 Scuderia or others
AWD S1+ FD VIPER ETC
The 240SX is a nice car, but you don’t need to limit yourself with the usual drift cars either. I might have a tune or two out for it, but I can always hop on and help you tune one for yourself too. The tune would be to how I tune and drift my cars, but I have never had a complaint about how I do mine either. All of my tunes are for controllers.
I am happy to share notes on the 240… It’s a car I have sort of forgotten about…
I took it down the needle climb and just PBd it… So the one I have obviously works pretty well
It has the 3.8l TT engine … Upgraded to 1017hp
Drift suspension, widebody, weight reduction etc
We are in winter at the mo’ so tyre pressures might vary but I have 30psi f &r
Nothing too special on alignment… Camber -3/ -1.5
Toe zero
Caster -7
Diff 100% accel
I have shared the tune if you want to try it but I am guessing you aren’t too far from that anyway
Edit: I use a controller
Your tune makes me spin out to much
That’s a shame…
Either keep in a lower gear (brute force /bouncing off limiter)…or better , modulate the throttle not just keep it nailed
When the angle gets too severe release the throttle… Into a corner too fast don’t forget to use the brake
You could try it on a large roundabout to practice throttle control… A good exercise is to change Lane …tighter turns/wider turns
Or it just doesn’t suit you … What tune are you using? I wouldn’t mind trying it to see how it differs
By the way I got 399k with it on needle climb …which I think is pretty solid
Oh an make sure you warm the tyres first… Fast travel there and dive in you may find it too loose
Just took it out again to check …1st run of the day 333k on way up /368 k on way down …mostly 3rd gear lots of throttle modulation… (No traction control/stability)
399515 is top 7% which I am pretty happy about
If you catch me on, I can walk you through a tune on several different cars and explain the reasoning behind my tune. I test each tune I make on Needle Climb and make sure it is to my liking before I even shelf the car. I also make cheap drift builds and builds for certain classes, usually from D-S1 class, and the only difference in many of the cases are the tires that are on the car.
If we are going over leaderboard positions, I am currently #617 on Needle Climb using a controller. A majority of my cars can easily do over 400K with a bit of practice as RWD and some even getting to the 450-480K mark. I know I should be on the game in a few hours, but I am about to leave for a class which is about 2 hours long, but I may come home before it ends fully. Just send me a message or a party invite in a few hours and I will be gladly to help anyone out, including helping to build you an actual car.
And if you’re into those weird drift cars, I have been having a lot of fun drifting my 1968 Abarth 595 Esseesse S2 922 RWD car than has hit around 480K downhill on Nmeedle Climb, and 440-450K going uphill.
Would you mind sharing the 595 tune? … I like drifting weird builds (Morris minor, beetle, transit van, 1970 camaro, Volvo 850) … Fancy trying one of yours
Which do you consider is your best /favourite tune? It would be good see how they differ in feel to mine…
If they feel the same then the points thing is down to lack of skill on my part
No problem, im logging into the game anyways so i’ll just throw the tune out into the world.
I tried to download your 595 tune but it wouldn’t let me… Something about incompatible parts… Not seen that before
I fully upgraded the car…tried again…no luck
Thanks for trying anyway
You can always send me an xbox party invite and I can walk you through the tune. I don’t think I was streaming when I build the lil bugger, and I don’t remember every setting, but at least you will see what i’ve done and can alter it afterwards. As before, my GT is Senistr. I know I will have some time this afternoon unless you are on to be able to do so now. If not, I am taking some notes for an exam that I have in a few hours…Stupid Computer Architecture class is ruining all the fun!
I have a stable r32 build that’s pretty fun to drive
