It says that the feature is locked, how do I unlock it so I can add to my collection?

Just play through the game - the various features, including the Autoshow, are unlocked one at a time so they can all be individually introduced. You just need to finish a few races.

Oh no I put the game in right away and wasn’t rewarded with millions of cr and every car…ohh I actually have to play the game
I don’t think the OP was quite like that - he just didn’t know how to buy cars in general since the option is greyed out.
But yeah, keep playing and it will unlock at some point. Once you beat your first complete road trip and attend an awards show every feature will be unlocked.
OP should first play the game, then post.
