SO, a friend of mine has a problem with forza horizon 3 on Windows 10.
The problem is that when he joins an online session he can stay in it for about 10 minutes then he gets kicked and sometimes his controller begins to vibrate after getting kicked and doesnt stop + when he tabs out of the game after getting kicked from an online session (looses connection) his game is likely to crash. I have searched everywhere for my friend to get it fixed. We unlocked the NATs and the Toredo adress and basically everything there is that we can do.
I’ve read that this problem is really common and i would like to find a fix for this OR THE GUYS WITH THIS PROBLEM WONT BE ABLE TO PLAY ONLINE FOR EVER. I’also read that the problem has not been solved in Forza Horizon 2, two years have passed since then and still no fix. Its time to fix this problem.
I and all the guys that have this problem and their friends would appriciate any help that we can get.
(I personally don’t have this probelm, im doing this for my friend. His gamertag is: ReAct iFakie)
If you know anything that we could try, post it here PLEASE!
What is your friend’s NAT type? It needs to be MODERATE or OPEN for most online gaming. CLOSED or STRICT NAT type could potentially cause the problem you’re having.
Thats one problem we want to know what NAT type he has be we couldn’t find a way to find out what NAT he has.
WHat would you suggest us how to check the NAT type for Forza Horizon 3 ?
Type in Command Prompt:
netsh interface Teredo show state
It will show something like this:
Type : natawareclient
Server Name : win10.ipv6.microsoft.com.
Client Refresh Interval : 20 seconds
Client Port : unspecified
State : qualified
Client Type : teredo client
Network : managed
NAT : restricted (port)
NAT Special Behaviour : UPNP: No, PortPreserving: Yes
Check last 2 lines with NAT, Open or Cone should be fine, Restricted too but not sure tho.
