By now we all know the C7 is an awesome piece of machinery. This week Heavy Metal Affliction tells the story of the conversion of a hard core Porsche lover to an owner of a the new Corvette Stingray.

Cool story! I did want to share my thoughts on the new Vette.
When I saw photos on the net and mags. of the car I did not like it at all. It looked like a F12 and a GT-R had a baby.
Then cars were out on the dealer lots but had not seen one at my local dealer yet. My wife and I had a yard sale about 2 weeks later. I’m sitting there drinking coffee then it pulls up a brand new bright red Corvette. I talked to the guy about it and asked if he minded if I looked at it. He showed me around the whole car. The one thing I will say is pictures do not do this car justice.
My opinion on this new “Sting Ray”, beautiful, sleek design too in spite of the times; demonic performance, ease to drive without the audience of the game and performed well on the fetish circuit manufacturers including Chevrolet: the Nordschleife.
Nice acceleration, not too much body roll despite a heavy weight and a panel of very loyal colories manufacturers.
For this new HMA, nothing to say other than congratulations for the photos, especially the exhausts!
See you on your “Twitch”, hoping that you roll with something other than “Dodge Dart”! . I do not know why but I feel that a few rounds will be held on a “Sting Ray” …

As much as anyone could possible try and dislike this car. Lol hmph its not gonna happen. Just look at the thing. Its an orgasm on wheels. The first time I ever saw the new design I couldn’t see which way they was going with this. So now judging from durffs story… I can see its meant to kick @$$ and have fun like the good ol’days. Oh and steal the hearts of Porsche lovers. Don’t know when i would be able to afford one but judging from this story it makes you want to be one instead.
Oh here is a little secret… In the heads-up display or digital display in the windshield if you will you can tell if someone been thrashing some corners in your vette cause it has a g-force meter that records previous highest g’s achieved so if it reads higher then which you have achieved then someone took her out for a spin.
Been a 'vette fan since I crawled past the drivers seat into the luggage space in a new '63 as a kid. Also had one { also a '63} sideways at 40 MPH 9 years later.
One more secret: If you meet a new one on the street, unless you are racing for pink slips, it will be running on four cylinders. At 1/4 throttle it sounds like an early Viper.
Switching from one car make to another, the former is having an affinity with that make to the latter is like a schedule change in school: You might be unfamiliar to change at first, but in the end of the day, it’s (usually) not bad after all!
As a Ferrari aficiando (my Gamertag says it), a truly do love Ferraris, like that guy is a fan of Porsche, but I’d have a car from any make.

I really like the C7 vette,when I first saw one driving around at Road America last fall during the SCCA Runoffs my buddies and I could not figure out what is was at a distance,we just knew it looked good. Saw later in the weekend it was a new C7 WOW, what a machine could not believe it was a Corvette.

absolutely gorgeous car mate sounds amazing in game and handles really well i am not fully used to forza 5 yet as i have only had it for just over a week but will give the car a proper thrashing soon

Hello John. Great Article. The new C7 blends power, agility and sophistication, is a great car and one of my favorite cars in FM5. I do not have a Corvette in real life, but i have all of in FM4 and FM5. Therefore, in my opinion, the Stingray is a very nice car.

Thats a nice looking C7 cabriolet, differs from the C6 GS as not all the roof goes down, but it reminds me that someone on the Forza Horizon storefront as replicated the lights of the c7, and did a good job haha
