I was just trying to click on the “featured multiplayer” option I heard this tiny pop sound, and suddenly, the audio disappeared. It’s so weird because this has never happened before. I mean, when I use my speakers, everything works just fine. Do you have any idea what might be going on?
I had this last night on Xbox series x. Had to do a hard reset.
I tried resetting my PC, but unfortunately, the same issue occurred again. I even attempted using a different pair of Bluetooth earbuds, but the sound bug still persists!!!
better solution here:
i have found a solution to the issue, here’s a step-by-step:
- Open your Settings and open “Bluetooth and Devices”
- Click on “Devices”, scroll all the way to the bottom and click on “More Device and Printer Settings”
- double click your headphones and select the “Services” tab.
- Uncheck “Handsfree Telephony” and “Remotely Controllable Device”.
Restart Forza and enter multiplayer, issue should no longer occur.
This is due to voice chat in multiplayer.
I’m assuming bluetooth headphones?
It’s a bluetooh limitation with Windows. It switches to a “headset” due to the microphone and headphones.
Go to settings - “Microphone Privacy Settings” and disable Motorsport from having microphone access.
(or you can disable all apps, if you wish.)
Fixed it for me.
It’s not a bug with Forza. It’s a windows bug/limitation with the default bluetooth stack.
Thank you yall, the solution work now my headphone works perfectly again!
Has anyone found another solution to this problem? I have a friend with a Logitech 435 Bluetooth who has the same problem but the solution they offered in this thread doesn’t work.
