No Car and no SFX sound while driving in multiplayer (XBOX ONE)

On Xbox One: Experiencing random issue with having no car and no sound effects sounds while driving in multiplayer. When it happens, I hit the menu button and I can hear the “tick” sound when navigating on the different options but if I resume, no sound. If I quit the race and start the multiplayer game again, the sound will work as normal. This is an intermittent issue and I cannot pinpoint what causes it. It has happened to multiple Xbox consoles that I own.

I don’t think this is related but I’m using a Logitech G920 wheel and pedals set.

Nope your not the only one having “no sound” during multiplayer .It has happened to me 3-4 times over the last few months it’s a pretty random event .I don’t know why?
Also I had a another odd thing happen a couple times in multiplayer while racing I finished on the podium but my driver avatar was invisible? and I wasn’t included in the post game results? I raced for nothing !?

Mute all other drivers via the menu or, more reliable, plug in a head set or at least a dummy plug/jack.
If the other people start babling in their mic, it will Semi-Mute your race sound. Plugin a headset/earplugs and it re-routes the babling to that and stops messing up the race sound on the TV/main output.
