Hi all,
With the imminent arrival of X class Ghost Leagues I’d like to share a couple of tunes with you.
First is the obvious choice: the Lotus.
As cars go, this is quite an animal, but I’ve got something going on here. I’m setting top 5s and 10s in my first few outings so I can’t complain much!
Tune:
Tyre Pressures: 30.0/30.0
Gearing: FD: 6.10. Then as follows: 1.15; 0.90; 0.76; 0.66; the rest are irrelevant.
Alignment:
Camber: -2.3/-1.7
Toe: 0/0
Caster7.0
Anti-Roll Bars: 35.00/30.00
Springs:
Stiffness: 555.0/500.0 lb/in
Height: Min
Damping:
Rebound: 9.9/7.7
Bump: 11.8/6.6
Aero: Max
Braking: 43% bias, 150% pressure. (Adjust to preference, but too far rear bias may cause oversteer)
Diff: 20% Accel; 100% Decel

IndyCar
This is the second choice, and a really nice car to drive. The struggle is to eke out its maximum potential. It’s basically the only other choice unless you want to drive an e-tron Quattro. This tune held a #1 until some meanies in F1 cars sniped it! On the right tracks, mainly where the F1 car may struggle, it can get up there and get near. I have some top 5s and 10s in this car on wet tracks. The F1 car should beat it but I’ll run the F1 car when these times eventually become knocked down.
Tune
Tyre Pressures: 30.5/30.0
Gearing: FD: 6.10; then as follows: 1.70; 1,36; 1.16; 1.01; 0.91; 0.84
Alignment:
Camber: -2.4/-1.3
Toe: 0.3/0.1
Caster 7.0
Anti-Roll Bars: 1.00/40.00
Springs:
Stiffness: 256.0/555.0 lb/in
Height: Min
Damping
Rebound: 5.0/13.0
Bump: 3.0/7.0
Aero: Max - this is good for acceleration, which is where most time is made. On longer tracks should you need to, you may remove some rear.
Braking: 37% front bias; 140% pressure (adjust to preference)
Diff: 100% accel; 0% decel
I hope you enjoy these tunes and maybe see you in the ghost league races!
Cheers!
