Small correction - my current time is in the Evora. Best time in the Supra was the same as Swerve’s current time - 1.52.0. Spent far too long failing to get it into the 51s and then immediately ran a 51.2 in the Evora and was then having the same problem getting into the 50s instead! I’ll try a little retuning tonight as didn’t feel my tune quite works for Barcelona.

I ran an experiment with the Clio on VIR, using Chronic’s tune instead of mine. I beat my time by a few cents first lap, with a lap that wasn’t very good, and after 7 laps I ended with a 1:36.093, which is roughly a second and a half improvement.
This isn’t definite proof of course, further study would be required to confirm the hypothesis, but the data seems to indicate that better tuning may lead to better lap times. Who knew?

Back to swapping parts randomly and ticking sliders for slight gains, 1:54.347 with a bigger turbo and more ballast.

Yeah it was banging off the limiter.
When I ran it again I used your lobby tune which ran better a little bit more top speed.
I’d like to run it again in a Ring specific tune and see if I can manage a sub 9:50 lap. It was a fairly rough lap but given some more time on the track it’ll get better.
Do you think the Honda/Acura will be best round here in C class or will anything else do a decent job e.g 91 M3. Reckon the AE86 could do well around here?
Livid i improved my time chasing @psybertech from a 01:51.946 to an 01:51.896 and stayed in the exact same place, however I did manage to do it with traction turned off so every cloud and all that.
I can can keep up, if not slightly ahead of most ghosts until ( hastily googles ) turn 5 Seat i think, and then i cannot get the same drive as anybody out of this section. I am then playing catch up for the rest of the lap. The one time time I got ahead I was pulling away then binned it on the last turn, as I realised I had stopped breathing.

Back to this weeks HLC I’ve improved my time to a 1:51.606, I’ve updated my previous post above.
Having switched to the Evora with Chronic’s v2 tune, I’m picking up time left and right. Finding out more of the limits of both the car, the track and me lap after lap.
The Evora is so good to drive! What’s fun is seeing the difference between the 370Z and the Lotus, straights vs corners respectively. Maybe it’s better to set my rival to another Lotus to get a better idea of the way it should be driven, that’s for the next session.
For now I’ll end it with a 1.51.616, there’s a few tenths left in there for sure, but not in me today…

Certainly good to have you back in the mix. Remember, even Ali (and many others)…including Rocky (…lol…) came out of retirement!
George Foreman won a world championship at 45 after coming out of retirement for the 2nd or 3rd time.

Lol yea true, but my priorities changed. No longer sweating it leaderboard times. A casual run what ya brung is where im at. Nostalgia is why I’m back here for the time being:) Always loved these comps. Keep up the good work!

I tried the 23 Beemer M2. Too heavy and wallowy here it seemed to me. Had high hopes leveling it last nite and tuning but walked away disappointed.

Just tried to have a look at my photo’s in the gallery but they were all blank and it crashes the game, this is after the latest update.
Anyone else experiencing this?
