Hard Luck Racing's Hotlap Challenges - Taking a Summer Break - Thanks Everyone For Your Support

Posted my final time. A 1:21.4XX in RP Chronic’s current tune. Thanks Chronic. I tried yours and Haulmarcs. All I had time for. Two good tunes.

I’m actually hoping the 02 Z06, 82 Porsche in a widebody, and or M1. But… The NSXs will surely be fast. Good luck next week.

1:20.185 in the S2K, still using Chronic’s v2.

That’s probably my final time, I’ve squeezed just about as much as I can out of it for this week.

1:21.119 still with @JSR_Chronic v2 tune :ok_hand:

I’ll try to make the M1 conpetitive. But I have to level it up first. It’s my first choice followed by the older Skylines.

I’ve switched to V2 as well now. More consistent through 2 and 3.

I was chasing you last night; I matched you on the first section, made improvements through the horseshoe section, but turn 5 and 6 was my downfall. I wanted to get into 1.20s, but not able to make it. Using Chronic V2 tune.

I’d like to give a shout out to my newest member of my team. Redline Motorsports. “Take it to the max”. :+1:

Official time. 1:23.039. :sunglasses:

Grand Oak was a LOT less stressful than the ‘Ring! :flushed:

@HLR_Moss Got you by .008 if you care to try lol

Threw away .1+ in the 90 degree left and somehow scrubbed .05 off the last turn.

EDIT: Used haulmarc’s tune for this time.

Well done! I won’t be attempting to retake the position. I’ll be far too busy preparing for closure.

Your move was not unexpected, with margins being so close

I used Chronic’s V2 tune for my time

What a crazy week at Grand Oak National. This combo provided us with the tightest results to date with the top 26 drivers within a second of our winner, and all the Tier winners finishing in the top 11 on the Top Scores leaderboard LOL. The fierce competition, and small margins, made it look like there was only 1 good car in the Division. This is certainy not the case. The 2 Subaru BRZs can be very competitive on other tracks.

Welcome to new driver Nightspeed11, and thanks to everyone that ran for helping create another successful event.

Here is a screenshot of the final leaderboard:

Once again we are offering exclusive liveries to the top 3 drivers in each Tier, and to the Tuner whose shared setup finished in the highest place when driven by someone else. Winning drivers in Tiers 2 and 3 will be promoted to the Tier above for the next event.

The Honda S2000 dominated our leaderboard this week. None of the other cars could match it’s speed on this track, and RP Jonathon looks to have extracted every millisecond from it. Some credit must be given to RP Chronic for providing the setups run by most of the drivers in our top 10, and well deserving of the tuner’s prize. It was also good to see razzitGT improve his time on the final day to get so close, and take #2 on the Top Scores leaderboard.

Tier 1 Prize winners
1st Place: RP Jonathon
2nd Place: razzitGT
3rd Place: RP IIJimboII
Tuner Prize: RP Chronic for the Honda S2000 setup run by RP Jonathon.

Performances in Tier 2 were equally impressive, with RP Korhen beating all but 4 of our Tier 1 drivers, and finishing #8 in the WW top 10. haulmarc deserves a special mention for not only producing a great lap, but also for doing it in his own excellent setup. Helmakr arrived late to take the final podium place, and show that a Top 20 leaderboard position won’t guarantee promotion to Tier 1 LOL.

Tier 2 Prize winners
1st Place: RP Korhen
2nd Place: haulmarc
3rd Place: Helmakr

I feel sorry for the other Tier 3 drivers having Swerve C10 in their midst, LOL, but good to see RIGGOTH giving the 2013 Subaru BRZ a run to take 2nd place. AJAX LDS took the final podium place.

Tier 3 Prize winners
1st Place: Swerve C10 in a Honda S2000
2nd Place: RIGGOTH in a 2013 Subaru BRZ
3rd Place: AJAX LDS in a Honda S2000

Congratulations to all our prize winners. Each livery will carry a different race number, and will be personalised with the driver’s gamertag. .

The 2009 Honda S2000 CR

The 2013 Subaru BRZ

To collect your livery drop me a message when you see me online, and I will share it long enough for you to download. I won’t be upset if you decide you don’t want it.
Please try to collect them within a week. With 10 new liveries created every week, I can’t afford to hang onto them for too long before I run out of storage space. Uncollected liveries will be deleted when I hit my maximum livery limit.

Event 15
Track: Mugello Full
Class: A
Cars restricted to the Sport GT Icons division
Finishes, 15 minutes before Midnight GMT on Monday, 11th March

Apologies to drivers who may have already run this track in fast cars. If you can’t beat your existing time we will accept evidence of a slower time. The only way that we think this can be done is by pausing the game after crossing the line, entering the Capture & share menu (via the XBox button), and selecting Record what happened. The save options are the last 15, 30, 45 seconds, or the last minute. The last minute is recommended. The saved clip can then be saved for upload to us, or to the Forum thread, as evidence.

This should be a FUN week, hope we do not end up in a ONE CAR “shootout”. Lots of great cars to choose from and get them competitive.

Ya hard to say as there isn’t a huge leaderboard car in this class but a lot of these cars make great lobby cars

I got my money on the vettes and nsx’s for this week

That’s what I was about to say.

What about the 355 and 360?The 355 used to be a great little car in older Forza. Im sure it was meta in A class in FM2/3

A great few weeks to be a Honda fan.

I got an older tune of Chronics for 92 NSX. Fun little drive but a little squirrely from time time. So I’m excited to see what he can come up track specific. Gonna stick with 92 NSX for now.

2:05.525 opening nite effort for me.
