It just occurred to me that Gumpert is returning thanks to the brand being sold to investors from Hong Kong. Difference is that it will be renamed Apollo, not Gumpert. In other words, Roland Gumpert is developing a new hypercar set to be revealed at Geneva 2016 alongside an overhauled Gumpert Apollo (Apollo Arrow due to company rename).
I hope so, after seeing one at a car show and hearing it, I want to see more on the roads!!
Maybe the new Apollo Arrow won’t be very exclusive, but I’m not sure how many are going to be built. I’m pretty sure it will be an enhanced version of the original Gumpert Apollo, but we’ll have to wait to find out.
Apollo Automobil is now open!
Here’s the only image of what could possibly be the new Apollo Arrow:
More details will come at Geneva Auto Show 2016!
I would like to c what it will look like. Kinda excited!
Sorry for late response. I am too!
[Unnecessary post]
It also turns out that Apollo is still making the original Gumpert Apollo, except it’s now called Apollo N. (See screenshot above.)
Above is a sketch of the real Apollo Arrow and what it should look like in reality.
BTW, also noticed Dan Greenawalt is going to Geneva, where the Apollo N and Apollo Arrow will be seen.
The front of that car is so menacing! If they keep anything from the sketch I want the front to stay like it is. I wonder how those rims will look in motion.
It looks like you’d bleed out if you touched it.
New Apollo N:
Front is pretty much the same as the original Gumpert Apollo. The rear is different.
Those of you who visit Apollo Automobil’s up and running site, you can see the likes of the Apollo Arrow and Apollo N. Such great cars!
