Can a moderator please make this thread a sticky so that people see it and don’t keep posting new threads. Credit to S4W for posting this information in another thread.

Getting your Rewards for Designs and Tunes

Tunes and Designs require a minimum number of uses to qualify for Rewards. Downloads and Likes don’t count. It’s only uses.

A use consists of a single race. Win or lose. A single lap at Top Gear West, a 30 second multiplayer race (on any track), or even a 1/4 mile drag race (each heat counts as a race/use).

Designs require a minimum of 101. 100 doesn’t seem to be getting a payout

Tunes require a minimum of 51. 50 doesn’t seem to be getting a payout.

The use counter resets every 24 hours. The tallies reset at midnight UTC/GMT, or 7pm Eastern, or 4pm Pacific.

Uses are cumulative. 20 uses on one paint and 60 uses on another = 80 uses overall.

Here is a list of uses and the corresponding reward:

75 uses, 0 for designs and 16k for tuning
100 uses, 0 for designs and 16k for tuning
105 uses, 19k for designs and 12k for tuning
110 uses, 19k for designs and 13k for tuning
120 uses, 19k for designs
128 uses, 23k for designs and 15k for tuning (using 2 different designs/tunes)
130 uses, 19k for designs and 12k for tuning (x2)
150 uses, 19k for designs
215 uses, 19k for designs and 55k for tuning
250 uses, n/a for designs and 64k for tuning
265 uses, 19k for designs and 60k for tuning
293 uses, 19k for designs.

Using your own files does not count.

No credit to me is needed as it wasn’t me who originally posted the info. As I mentioned in the other thread the quote came from x360 by A. Gamer so all credit to them for working it out.
On a side note aren’t you now in fact doing exactly what you typed in your first post ,“making another thread”? As you said you copied it from another thread so why not just make that one sticky instead of “making another thread” …savvy :slight_smile:

Yes I recognised this. But I think for the benefit of the community it’s better a purposeful thread is created and made sticky. I’ve changed the title so that hopefully it catches people’s eyes a bit more effectively.

I understand that but honestly what makes you think they will sticky this when they wont even sticky a Bug Report Thread? (not too mention at there is already 2 other threads open about designs/tunes and sharing). Not even on the old forums did they have a sticky for a bug thread so I highly doubt they will sticky this ,just my 2 cents :slight_smile:

To be honest this thread would help out the mods. It doesn’t benefit me in any way, shape or form other than (hopefully) keeping the forums a little less clogged.

I’m not saying that the thread wouldn’t be of some help ,of course it would. What I’m saying is that we already had 2 open threads about tunes/designs/sharing and people talking about methods etc… so why go an make yet another thread (the info was copied from one thread just to make another?..it was already on the forum lol) when the other 2 are just fine and could be stickied. You basically did exactly what you said you didn’t want to happen from your opening statement lol.

Thread #2 is where you copied the info into this thread. I just don’t see why we needed another thread when we had 2 on the first page under yours (you even commented in one of them) is all I was saying. There is a total of 3 pages of threads and have a look at the dupes already with vip/tokens/designs etc… prevention is the key people :stuck_out_tongue:

Riddle me this, how am I getting 5-8k on tunes when it definitely doesn’t appear I’m getting 51 uses a day?

So you get a maximum of 19k per day for designs? Nothing less, nothing more? Because in the list you quote the more uses the more credits for tunes, but the payout for design doesnt increase - from 105 to 293 uses you get 19k?

My wife got on today and did 110 drag races in a car with my design and tune. Tonight my payouts were:

Design 14,305
Tune 5,479

So either your chart is off, or not all races are equal.

im too having trouble with the chart. tried last couple of days and found layer groups do not add anything for the achievement, only car designs.
also completed 120 races (2x 60) and only got just over 5k in design rewards.
anyone else any help on this ? thanks.
