just played the demo and holy [Mod Edit - Profanity not permitted - D] the game runs so much better then FH3 on high settings average 80fps!!!
no hitching, no stutter, car customization menu is so fast now compared to FH3.

i just hope its not just the demo optimized but the entire game.

oh also loving the new benchmark tool.

Definitely, ran buttery smooth on my system and I only had a few stutters when the game changed from cinematic to gameplay during seasonal changes. Other than that, it was a wonderful experience on high/ultra! I actually yelled at the screen in pure joy when driving around in free roam, I just had such a good time! Finally.
The benchmark tool is absolutely fantastic, more PC games need a proper tool with that much information shown! Good job on this one.
Also, thanks for making it possible to change the video settings and controller / wheel settings BEFORE actually throwing us into a tutorial / start up event! Too many games just start with an opening before you can change wheel settings and its just a horrible mess for the first few minutes. Again, fantastic!
And I must say thanks for adding FOV sliders this time, I had to refund Forza 7 because I got motion sickness from the low FOV on PC…

Ran great on my machine. However I kept getting a low video memory warning. I turned all the gfx as low as possible getting over 100 FPS still tells me low video memory. Turned the graphics back up was getting a constant 60FPS still get the error message.

I’m guessing it’s just a bug as there were 0 performance drops and was at +60FPS at all times. Just annoying to have a pop up there every 5 mins.

I never cared squat about Horizon until my son started to like it (he hates Forza and my driving sims like AC and Pcars 2). I have to say on the PC in my sim racing setup this game is pretty fun. I did not try the FH4 demo yet on the PC though but with latest version of FH3 on PC I was able to run stable at 30 fps 4k resolution. Need to try 60 fps again to see but I noticed when it was in “dynamic” mode the game kept crashing every few minutes. When I told it to stop that it was stable and was last at 30fps. Hoping I can get 60 without turning down the eye candy on FH4. Guess we’ll see.

That’s because settings doesnt change anything whether you’re low or ultra.
A convenient “bug”.

yes the game runs perfect on 60fps i´m happy

Yeah to say it’s a Horizon game it doesn’t run too badly. I’m getting around 40-50 FPS on High at 3840x2160 with GTX 1060 6GB.

…Is truly TRULY amazing. Hands down one of the best performing PC titles I have EVER played. The gorgeous environments and insane level of details would’ve made my pc kill itself in any other game. But I get to play this piece of art at max settings with a 5 year old CPU, never ever dipping below 60.

Thank you turn devs for putting so much effort into the pc release.
You deserve the praise that’s coming to you.

Besides, the game itself is a masterpiece too!!

Yeah. And it still looks great even on One S. Hope they fix the stutters in Forzavista and sometimes in races but it’s impressive.

All that needed is to unlock frames from the monitor refresh and it’s all good.
As it is now it locks my frames to 240 as I’m on a 240 hz monitor. It means I have to manually change before playing the game.
If they unlocked that so I set myself in game I could set up NV Panel to auto switch refresh rate on the game.

Runs smoothly on my 1080Ti/8700k. however the visuals aren’t really exciting even at 1440P Ultra. some textures still look very basic. the 144hz refresh rate does help gameplay a lot though. wish they could have just made the game slightly better looking though.

gonna have to disagree with the masterpiece though. while it’s great, FH3 still feels better overall.
