Similar to what happened in Forza Horizon 5 after the first wheel update, any wheel painted by the user (in paint booth) or livery downloaded with colorful wheels loses its pigment once the wheels move/spin.
Not only that, but it also seems like the illumination (or even the reflection) angle of rims appear to be snap shotted (maybe when the asset is loaded in), and when they rotate, the shine/bloom/reflection of that part of the rim also rotates as if the lighting is baked into the rim itself. It looks truly terrible in motion (especially at low speeds).
I feel as if rim rotation physics need a rework as a whole. It does the new graphics overhaul no justice whatsoever.

The color on the rims doesnât change colors on a lot of rims especially the aluminum color and also the brake calipers doesnât change colors at all when you apply race calipers

Bug Info: When going over 20 km/h the wheel starts showing a âspinningâ texture. However, the colour differs from the paint on the rim

Yeah, Iâm getting this too. Very noticeable when entering the pits and the wheel rims suddenly change colour, very disappointing that the game is still this broken
The wheel spinning âtextureâ is some times totally different from the actual rim design. For example on the 2019 Porsche 911 Carrera S. It looks horrible.

It is on almost any car and any rim. If you paint your rims and start driving, as soon the rims turn into 2D, they lose the color and are back to stock color.
Yes this has been reported a while ago since launch & also Forza Horizon 5âŚ). Also some of the cars have their 2D spinning rims not match the actualâs rim geometry (the spinning rim is a different rim model compared to the 3D rimâŚ)
