What would be nice to see added to the Gift Drop is an option to send the gift to friends and not just random gamers.

Not going to happen as a regular feature. It is too easy for people to abuse the system and do actual car sales/gifts with real money.

Preise add the function that we can gift cars to our friends, that we can pick a person from our friendlist
I’ve been playing for about a month now and have brought a friend back into the game. He had a spare car that he wanted to gift me, but there currently isn’t a way to gift cars to friends. You can only gift to strangers which seems like an oversight.
This isn’t an oversight. It’s done this way so users can’t create multiple accounts, earn the same rare car in all of those accounts and then gift all the rare cars to one single account.
If someone wants to buy multiple copies of the game, so they can make 1 account rich, why not? That’s X more sales to the developers. Doesn’t hurt anyone
That’s just it. They don’t need to buy multiple copies. They just need multiple Xbox accounts and 1 copy of the game.
That being said, I believe they do allow some gifting to specific people over the December holiday season. Whether or not they do that again, this year remains to be seen.
The gifting to specific peeps is mainly for stuff on the Forzathon Shop, if I haven’t forgotten.
