It seems that each agent’s response is different. I made a ticket request again and was told that I can’t get compensation. However, when I was in Forza horizon4, I also made a request for a ticket shortly after removing the special livery gift car by mistake. Later I got compensation why now I’m told not to get compensation but the problem is because repurchasing at Forzahorizon5 auction house or trying to get back a vehicle that wasn’t sold with a special livery will lose the special livery because it seems to be a bug yes if Without this bug I don’t think we would even issue a ticket request of course I didn’t point the bug to the staff because the main reason is still myself I understand your feelings because I want to get all the vehicles just like you
I was wondering how to get the special liveries back if they disappear from your car? The livery never appears when selecting a car unless I auction it and just claim it back. So I did that with 5 today and now none of them have the special liveries. I even tried buying all 5 from the auction house with those liveries and when I got in the car it was just a basic color. Is there any fix for this or a way to get the liveries?
If a car has a livery but you can’t see it, go to tuning and either install an upgrade, or do the ‘restore default upgrade’ option. Doing either of these will update the thumbnail. If you go in garage and the car doesn’t show the livery… it’s just not there anymore and you’re out of luck.
I went by accident in the Paint & Vynil section while I was with the gifted Halo themed Jeep. Results, it reverted back to the original green Jeep.
Is there a way to retrieve or reapply the decals?
Should’nt there be a way to easily wrap the vehicule with various skin when it be removed?

Sadly it’s probably gone for good. I lost one of the early ones to “misadventure” (see below). The 2020 Corvette Stingray “Dia de Muertos” livery. I was lucky to find one in the Auction House and the livery didn’t get lost in the ownership transfer.
So that’s one possible way to get the Halo Jeep back. Find and win it at auction. But… sometimes the livery doesn’t get copied over and you end up with a generic paint job. No idea if it’s all or just some cars, or just some of the time.
FWIW I lost mine because of the bug that doesn’t show the proper livery in the thumbnail. I was clearing duplicates in the garage and it looked basic standard. Workaround to insuring that doesn’t happen is apply an upgrade to the car and it should fix the livery display. I had one I had to do two upgrade and saves before it took.

Japan, France, and Germany claimed the top three podium spots in the Series 4 Horizon World Cup. All FH5 players have been gifted the Nissan, Bugatti, and Mercedes-Benz to the in-game message center. These cars do not come with a special livery.
Hello all, a while back I recirved the porche 918 as a goft from xbox, and last week my cousin changed the design on the car and lost it. Is there any way to get it back, or am I completely screwed?

Ah. Well, I did find my other microsoft account I had years back and it still has the car, but from what I can find I can’t gift it to myself
Hello! If your really content about having that livery back you can check the Auction House and purchase another example for pretty cheap only if your not opposed being the original owner. It is a pretty slick paint job tbh. Hope this helps. 
Unfortunately, many people have tried that and reported that the livery got removed upon purchase.

I just received a 918 as a gift and the Xbox livery was on it. I went to the auction house and bought the first one with little vixen listed as the painter. After it downloaded I confirmed it had the wrap. If that’s what you’re looking for just check that the painter is listed.
Edit: it was broken before though.
If it’s been fixed, that’s great news. I haven’t seen anything in the release notes, but they don’t cover everything, and it may be a server-side issue. You’re sure the one you bought didn’t have a recreated livery?
BMW i8 with Earth Day livery
Inspired by Xbox’s Earth Day and sustainability visual design, this chameleon-themed livery (with polychromatic rims) adorns the 2015 BMW i8, a hybrid, plug-in electric vehicle. I see the Earth Day livery gift BMW is live now, here at least. And apparently the livery bug lives on. It doesn’t show the proper livery in the thumbnail until you go into your upgrades menu, change something and save it.
If you drive it in a way that harms the environment (destroying solar panels and other property in Mexico), is it really being used in a Earth Day appropriate manner?
I won’t be able to get mine until Wednesday and am so looking forward to having to change something so it shows up correctly in the car list and I don’t accidentally give it away.
hehehe… I was thinking the same thing when I saw the post yesterday… an Earth Day “CAR” ? Sorry, not even if electric. And in a game played on (by most I’m sure) a console and big screen tv with surround sound etc. etc. etc. Let’s all just go for a walk and enjoy that thing… what’s it called again ? Out… side… ?
