In past games if I remember correctly, the rival ghosts were much more evolved than what we have now. When running rivals and setting faster laps “MY” ghosts doenst update to the fastest lap. When beating a rival their ghost disappears and the next rivals ghosts doesn’t load. In most cases when I back out and reload a new rival that ghost wont appear and I’m stuck racing myself without any benchmark. I also remember the ghosts being a more transparent white color in a more true to form “ghost” likeness.
