Ghosting is the single best feature in the game

Of all the game’s innovations, the best, though entirely accidental feature has got to be Menu Ghosting.

Forever and a day Forza has been plagued by kamikaze rammers, with no way to counter them. I have had many a laugh now at the numerous videos emerging of potential victims ghosting at juuust the right moment, so a rammer goes full speed off track and into a wall somewhere.

It is beautiful, and hilariously satisfying. Hopefully someone will record and upload a compilation or something, it would certainly provide hours of laughs.

I could record a compilation of my own errors forcing me to ghost so that I don’t ruin someone else’s day. That “feature” has saved me so many “Sorry!” quickchat’s.

What is also ironic is I think this is the first Forza game where you can also Ghost in the single player as well?

It’s under the Accessibility options.

Why would you want to Ghost in single player?

Have you seen how bad the AI in this game drives? :woozy_face:

U had to do this today, messed my braking point up and there was no gap to miss the field, ghosted and managed not to wipe out the field and ended up still in the pack but able to shuffle back in

I first saw this feature in Gran Turismo 6 and agree it’s definitely a great thing to have.

Haven’t had to use it much but on the few occasions where I have come across “those” players, it’s an easy way to safely put them in their place.
