So there may be a better place for this, but this is the only XBox forum I visit.
I have FM7 on my original XBone and I’d like to get a OneX. If I install a new machine, will I be able to download FM7 again to the new machine and will all my saved data for the game be there to use?
Is there anything else I need to do or is there a proper way to make sure I can just pick up the game as I left it on the new machine?
Thanks for any help, never upgraded a XBox where I could still play the same games and just dont want to lose anything.
Should work fine. Your save should be in the MS Cloud. If you have an external drive that meets the criteria you can move all your games to the external and copy them to the new XBOX as well. I have a 4TB external WD MyBook that I can move from XBOX to XBOX and still have all my games ready to go. The first launch on a different XBOX logged in as you will say installing for a brief time but it syncs your saved game data and off you go right where you left off. I do this between my old XBOX and my newer XBOX One X.
