For some reason, especially going into 2nd the games make a graunching sound like I’ve mis-shifted using my Thrustmaster TX/T3PA-PRO/THA8 shifter.
I know I’m not, and it doesn’t happen in other racing games I play.
Any ideas what I can try out ? (clutch deadzone perhaps?)
Xbox One X
My suggestion with clutch deadzones when using a wheel is to set Inside DZ to 1 and Outside DZ to somehting small like 20 or 21 - that way only a slight push off the clutch pedal is needed to achieve complete clutch disengagement. If the Outside DZ is left too large, a longer clutch pedal movement is needed; that’s fine for normal road driving, but in the heat of racing where you are trying to achieve quick gear changes, that can cause the sound of gearbox grinding.
Just my 2c worth.
