Let the players have main menu backgrounds on tracks in specific locations, or allow them to manually place where the backgrounds are. Having multiple garage designs, color options, and lighting options would be very nice too.
For example: A preset of Monza could have 3 selections for our cars to sit within the background. Players would then choose which one they like, along with the time of day, or night etc.
This expands creativity and could be a very nice addition to our customization abilities if it doesn’t take up too much memory or game storage. It also provides more possibilities for Forzavista or perhaps VR immersion.
Bumping this back up - Kind of sad to see another generic garage background. At least the car bay is new, but it’s barely visible with all the rotation and we can’t really enter it. Or even free roam into it. Kind of pointless atm, and hopefully this post sparks another rally of cool, awesome menu background enthusiasts to agree.

I was thinking about this just today. It would be a wonder to be able to customize the menu locations. The announcement trailer studio/garage would be incredible. The standard garage we had in Motorsport 7 would also be cool. And it would be a great detail to have the team crew walking around the place and doing whatever as well.
