Lets just get this out of the way. This is an excellent game!
BUT…
Who thought it would be a great idea to basically force people to keep all the cars - even all the ones you dont want - just to keep your collectors tier high, so you can get that ford crown wic and wankel swap it like you always dreamt about???
Why does my garage have to be filled to the brim with uninteresting cars that i do not want just to advance in this game?
picture this.
A real life car collector does not get less experienced as a car collector if he sells that fiat 500 he had in his garage.
Why do we in the game then move down a tier if we sell - or remove - cars from our garage???
oh and also - when are you going to give us the nurburgring tourist layout
Actually this is a concern off mine. The more cars you have, the more it bogs down the system. I already want clean my garage out, but then you lose discount.
I plan have having a racing account and just have the car I need to foe the series I happen to be doing.
It would be nice while on the "Car Collection’ screen to be able to order the cars e.g. by price, by name etc within each Tier. Not a big ask I would have thought…
It wouldn’t be so bad if I could designate favorites and if the menu wasn’t so sluggish when scrolling through everything. Press left, count to four, and then it goes.
The garage is really unmanageable with the 600+ cars I have, not to mention scrolling through it is really laggy with all those 3D models needing time to load.
This game urgently needs favourites like in Horizon and much better filters (like why can’t I even filter on FE cars?). And an option to toggle the 3D preview on or off.
I miss they way you could sort stuff like in Forza 4, front tyre size, peak power RPM, S-H-A-L-B stats, parts value, etc. Even the sorting isn’t as good as Horizons, where you could sort by cars not owned, affordable or Forza 6 where you could tap left to get to Volvo, now you have to go through the list.
Or of course cut down either on image size or images altogether. I think there was a list option in the first Horizon game which should be very fast and easy to access. For some tasks it would be good enough for me and I certainly don’t want to see a full screen image of a car all the time.
Yeah, I’ve learnt to select the car I want to use before even going into multiplayer, changing your mind after a few races & trying to select something else almost always results in me looking at the dashboard… As does crossing the finish line… Turning a corner… Pressing the brake… Etc…
‘Favourites’ would be nice though.
